Have you ever dreamed to be a character in one of those classic movies? Here you go, staying in Saravilla once will fulfill your dream. This nicely maintained historical house brings you to one of the movie scenes you have seen, plus home made breakfast served by the friendly members in the house. The Ammi Wright Suit we stayed is...

We loved Saravilla. Have stayed there 3 times thusfar. Plan on staying here again. The B&B has a lot of history, is very clean and comfortable; and you get a menu of choices for breakfast! That never happens. The town of Alma also has good shopping and eateries.

Our family stay at Saravilla was phenomenal! The hosts were available when needed, but allowed our family to fully access the entire mansion throughout the weekend! We were able to host our Rehearsal Dinner in one of the gathering rooms, as well as an after-the-reception family gathering. The groom chose Saravilla, because he had stayed there before, and knew that...

Well worth the price. Very nice large old home. Impressive. Good service. Excellent breakfast. Quiet for sleeping. We were helped up and down stairs with our "heavy" luggage. Easy parking behind house.

I've stayed in plenty of bed and breakfasts over the years, but saravilla is my all time favorite. it is a stunning, authentic, gracious home (or maybe mansion I should say) but roland, the innkeeper is the true gem there. he fills guests with his thoughtfulness and good cheer. this was my second time and I will return without question...

Booked here for our son's graduation from Alma College. Very lovely. Very popular. Booked well in advance of event. So beautiful. Wonderful innkeepers. They allowed us to bring in dinner for our family after the ceremony. Felt totally "at home". Room was beautiful and perfect sleeping temp. Close to campus but no noise. Made a wonderful weekend even more perfect!

I highly recommend this "hidden gem" in the heart of Alma, MI. It is clean and the innkeeper and staff were very friendly. The extra plus was the delicious breakfast! It is located close to Alma College, so we were there for our daughter's graduation weekend. Can't beat it!

Our evening at the saravilla was spectacular! The bed was comfy, the host was very kind, the view was perfect. Will stay here the next time we are at Alma. This was our 3rd visit, but definitely the best!

There are only two places I can recommend in the Alma area and Saravilla is definitely one of them. My wife and I have stayed there a number of times over the past 9 years, including our wedding. Our most recent visit was our first with the new owners. The Saravilla is still a quiet and comfortable place to stay...

Thank you for your positive review and for pointing out some maintenance issues that need attention--we will insure that these are taken care of immediately and not be regular issues. Yes, the building is vintage but we also take pride in maintaining it well and it appears we missed the mark during your recent visit.

Excellent place to stay, but book early as they are popular. The house is an excellent, old mansion that is well kept up, clean and a delight to stay in. This is our second time we stayed there and will do so again!
