I had booked a 4-bed room. Likes: 1. The room was large 2. The beds are NOT double-deck 3. Friendly staff 4. Breakfast with a lot of fruits Dislikes: 1. No kitchen (since the hostel owners operate a restaurant on the groundfloor)

This is a sociable and friendly hostel, located in the heart of Sucre with plenty of entertainment every night. The rooms were spacious and clean, however the bathrooms could get quite filthy. The shared areas were comfortable and plentiful for a large hostel. The restaurant attached is very good and the happy hours are generous and cheap.

This hostel is perfect for the social traveller, and for someone staying in Sucre for a short time, not an extended amount of time if you are planning on studying Spanish and travelling on a budget. This is because this hostel is more expensive than others around, and it does not have a kitchen for travellers to cook meals. They...

Stayed here for three nights. Despite the fact that a construction is going on until about mid December (due to the inconviniencies a 10% discount is granted) the ülace is gorgeos. A wide, ample colonial building, many different dorms. I liked that the four and five bed dorms did not have bunk beds but single / double beds. Good matraces,...

The staff was not friendly at all, and they were totally inflexible. They wouldn't let me check in even 30 minutes early (check in is at 1) even though I'd been there since 7:30 am from a night bus. Loki in La Paz for example checked me in 2 hours early when I arrived there! Also the whole place is...

One of the better hostels, I got a double bed in my four dorm, they make your bed each day and they serve undoubtedly the best breakfast I've seen yet. They mix it up each morning from waffles to pancakes and honestly for the price it's a bargain. Really well located too. A taxi from the bus terminal should cost...

Pro's: amazing breakfast, good location nearby the plaza, special building with a real colonial feel to it (rooms with seperate floors and stairs, very cool!). Atmosphere on the first day was very nice, having beers in the courtyard. Cafe is very nice and the food (spaghetti carbonara) is excellent for a decent price! Con's: beds were terrible (holes, bumps, steep...

The beds are ok but the mattresses sag. The showers are hot and the rooms are clean. But the hostel in general is very noisy and you do hear the noise from the downstair's bar in all rooms. The WiFi is poor and only available in the lobby. For what they offer and charge, I like the La Paz hostels...

We thought the location was good, it was about 2 to 3 blocks from the city center plaza. We stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm for a couple of nights. The dorm was quite spacious, there is plenty of room. However, in order to get to our dorm 2 we had to walk through dorm 1. Please note, that...

Stayed in dorm number 2 (which was the best I hear). Was really airy with a table and comfy beds. The bar area is nice both in the evenings to have a beer (not cheap but not ridiculously expensive) and during the day to sit and read. The guys in reception were also really helpful. I stayed here for 10...

“Since this hostel is very lively, I heard it might be a bit noisy at night. Since I stayed at the dorm in the back of the hostel, I didn't experience this. So I recommend light sleepers to ask for that one.”
