We stayed in one of the cabanas for 11 days while taking Spanish lessons in Sucre. We were very sad to leave! The location is great being close to the historic centre and having an awesome view overlooking the city. We prepared our own breakfasts and often cooked for ourselves in the shared kitchen. This saved us some money and...

We stayed here for three nights after completing a tough two-day trek in the arid surrounds of Sucre, and lapped up the tranquility of the charming cabins in their garden setting high on a hillside. After three weeks of travelling, I spent a whole day recharging my batteries on the delightful small garden terrace, with a stunning view over lovely...

We volunteered not far from Sucre so we ended up coming back to La Selenita few times because we absolutely loved it! This charming place is set on a hill above the city centre and with it's eclectic garden gives you a feeling that you are in the country while being only a short walk from everything. Maïte, the owner,...

Exceptional service!!! Staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Very comfortable rooms - we had a private en suite double "The Pear Room". Excellent location close to everything in town. Great view of the town and included breakfast was good. Full kitchen that was for use by guests - we will be back and can highly recommend...

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and Juan stole the show!! He was so helpful and kind every step of the way. He went above and behind with customer service and 100% made our experience !! The view from our room was beautiful and my aunt and I slept so well at night because it was nice and quiet. Definitely check...

The staff were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Juan, the manager while we were there, spoke excellent English and really went above and beyond the call of duty to help me recover my delayed baggage which Delta Airlines seems to have sent to the wrong side of the planet. He even went into the local airline office to ask them...

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in this mini oasis outside sucre. Maite was a fabulous host, offering helpful advice on the area, tips and freshly baked bread. The cottages themselves are extremely clean, comfortable worth gloriously hot showers and in a tranquil and secure setting. It's a short and safe walk into town, but if you're feeling lazy...

Very nice rooms, very nice lady of the house. Delicious and healthy homemade breakfast (includes homemade bread and homemade jam). From the city centre it's a 10 minute walk. So only if 10 minutes walking (which is healthy) or a healthy breakfast (which is healthy again) is too healthy for you, you should stay maybe somewhere else. Otherwise La Selenita...

La Selenita is located at the top of the hill, 5-10 minutes walking distance from the city center. Small guest houses are located in the very nice garden where form you will get very picturesque panorama of the city. Inside decor of the rooms is done with the style mixing European quality with South American scents and accents. Cottages are...

I absolutely loved La Selenita and everything about it - the friendly, super helpful owner Maite, the cute dog and cat, the beautiful, tranquil garden setting, the clean, comfy rooms, the amazing breakfast, the sunny terrace, the views over town and the great common areas. Super location too - just a short walk from the main square and close to...
