3 of us stayed for 2 nights following an overnight bus from Uyuni. Although we arrived at the wee hour of 5.30am the hostel let us rest in the common area until our room was ready later that day. We greatly enjoyed the eclectic artwork, hot showers and generally relaxed atmosphere of this very pretty hostel. Easy to see why... More

Good: When we arrived the owner upgraded us to a larger room, it had 2 bunk beds that were very comfortable and clean. The shower was hot and worked well, sadly no TV, but there is a large supermarket nearby. If you arrive at the bus terminal, a LineA colectivo will get you close to the hotel for 1.5Bs. There... Excellent stay at Hostal CasArte Takubamba, which is a beautiful B&B more than a hostel. Lovely and tasteful artwork adorn the walls, and rooms. Beautiful rooms with excellent en-suite bathrooms with hot showers. Decent wifi. Very comfortable beds, lovely linen and towels provided. Cheap washing service available. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit and juice, coffee/tea, egg (only 1), jams and... More

Certainly because they had available rooms and a rather low occupational rate, we were able to check-in already in the morning. That was so much appreciated as we spent so many hours in a night bus which started in Uyuni (with drunk guys vomiting in the bus!!). This helped to regenerate our batteries and be ready to explore the city... More

Such a beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean and a welcoming home away from home, with creative and artistic details everywhere. The staff are very kind and helpful and can share useful tips about where to eat or places to visit nearby. The rooms large and bright very comfortable and quiet and there are lovely communal areas including a beautiful... More

Rooms were magnificent, the bathrooms were clean and really nice and the outdoor eating area was fantastic. It's a short, easy walk to the city centre and breakfast is eggs, fruit, juice, bread and spreads. We all loved our stay here and would certainly come back!

A great hostel in Sucre only a few blocks from the main Plaza. The staff were all very nice and super helpful. Breakfast was outstanding, some of the best I've had in South America. Would highly recommend. Not a party hostel though if that's what you're looking for.
