Tired of stressful Bolivia, packed buses, blocked roads and dodgy taxi drivers? Casa Verde is the perfect place to spend some time recovering from the hustle and bustle of Bolivia. The rooms are very nice, very clean, very well sized (ours @ $30 a night...More
This is simply a great place to stay, clearly the best one in our entire trip. And guess what, the price range is very cheap. Sometimes you pay what you get, here you get a lot for what you pay.

Ditto to all the other reviews! Great rooms, a pleasure to have a duvet after weeks of travelling in Bolivia and experiencing crushed toes from heavy blankets!

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
I'd like to stay at Casa Verde but I'd like to know a little more about how good the internet connection is, as I will need to work while I am staying there. For example, is it possible to make a Skype call (from one of the rooms rather than the common areas)?
Many thanks in advance!

Another visitor there and I decided that the problem was more an issue of internet in Sucre rather than at Casa Verde. At certain times of the day the service everywhere gets very slow and there's some logic behind the pattern of it working and not working (like when children are let out of school) but it's a thing for sure.
Maybe another place will work better but Casa Verde is a jewel of a place to stay and I'm not too sure the internet elsewhere is going to be much better (maybe if you find a place that has it's won line). Good luck.
