Located 1/2 block from main square with friendly and courteous staff (I don't know what quinn88 got up to??). Based on a colonial style house with 3 courtyards it is a peaceful haven apart from some scraping of furniture and clip clop of stilettos on the tiled floors. Breakfast is good and the restaurant serves very good meals. We stayed...

We stayed there for three nights in August and had a excellent experience. Great location, just off the square; an oasis of calm after Potosi and Uyuni. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, good breakfast buffet-- sorry to hear of quin88's experience as we had very helpful staff. We also did not have a full complement of towels--but they brought...

Yes this hotel is in a good location and the rooms are OK although the shower a bit tempremental, but that is it. It is the only hotel in Bolivia that we have stayed in with rude and unhelpful staff. True, my Spanish is basic but with sign language and smiles I have managed in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Bolivia....

Stayed here for 3 nights in July and couldn't find a single fault. Location is perfect, bang in the middle of sucre just off the main square. Friendly reception and restaurant staff, beautiful rooms with the most comfortable beds we have found in south America, and spotlessly clean modern bathrooms with power showers and hot water 24/7. An absolute bargain...

Great hotel right off the square. Rooms are a good size, beds comfy and very strong showers. Great value for money too. Staff were friendly and on top of everything. Would stay here again.

This is a nice hotel arranged around courtyards, and all in a good state of repair and decoration (which cannot be said of many hotels in Bolivia). We had two big beds in a room with a ceiling made up of a number of small brick barrel-vaults. Certainly no problem with the size of our beds (as raised by another...

The hotel is cozy and well run. Newly renovated itoffers good rooms in a lovely atmosphere and the rooms even have a central heating system which is a blessing in the winter in Sucre and not common (in Bolivia). However, the double beds are extremely small and if you are tall expect your feet to hang out and that your...

This is a proper hotel, not a hostel at all and a wonderful one at that! I came here after taking a look around and it was also extremely cheap for what you get, for me 20GBP, I hada double bed, breakfast and all in a charming colonial building with courtyards. I don't know why this is classified as a...

I stayed 4 nights in La Posada and it was one of the highlights of my trip. It is a charming colonial hotel but the rooms are brand new, lovely comfy beds, nice tile floors and bathrooms, free Wifi, an amazing setting with 3 courtyards and a great restaurant, friendly receptionists, what more could I ask for. Amazing value for...
