The location of the hotel apartment is just perfect for a tourist. There are number of restaurents very close with both veg & non-veg options. Meena bazar is just opposite. Other low budget shopping destinations are at walking distance. Rooms, bathroom were clean. Hotel also provides facility of hot plates though we did not use during our stay. But a...

Have read all the reviews. The hotel is not so bad as some people say it is. Dont go expecting a luxury 5 star hotel as that is not the case. They are apartments. They were clean enough and when you go with a family it is always easier to stay in an apartment. Especially for Indians, there are lots...

Went in February - read reviews to state it was modernised - how wrong was that. Chose this hotel as its very close to all amenities in Bur Dubai. Had to change room on 3 occasions due to bedbugs, water on bathroom floor and faulty lights (see photos) The Operations Manager dismissed me as being fussy and said we could...

The hotel is highly unprofessional. Bad service and lack of cleanliness. Had gone there with family but our trip was ruined by them, when we arrived there to see, after a tiring flight that our room had been given to someone else, even after we had booked it one and half months in advance, with full advance payment. The service...

Staying in The Creek

Neighbourhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
