This winter season, I have stayed twice at the Hyatt Regency. It’s one of the oldest five stars in Dubai, and pales in comparison with the modern luxury hotels in Downtown, however, this is also reflected in the price, and overall, I find the hotel to be of good value. This winter, the price was excellent both times. As long as you don’t expect too many luxuries, you’ll be quite happy here. After a night flight, I arrived at 9 am, and I had informed the hotel in advance. I am very grateful that they had arranged an early check-in for me. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The room was fairly large, had a comfortable bed, good-sized desk, huge tv (55”) and free&unlimited wi-fi with good speeds for watching videos etc. Two 0.5 L water bottles were provided free of charge daily, and you get more if you ask. There’s a safe, of course, and what I appreciate is the multi-plug socket so you can charge your devices without an adapter. The bathroom came with a separate bath and shower with good water pressure. I was underwhelmed by the Chinese-made non-branded toiletries. The pool area (7 am–10 pm) has been lightly renovated and comes with a pool bar that also serves snacks. The pool is not the largest in town, but it was also fairly quiet during my stay, and is it is heated, it’s a joy to use. They provide pool towels, and there are slippers and bathrobes in the room. The restaurant in the lobby serves great à la carte all day. Portions are large and the prices reasonable. There’s pasta and pizza, European dishes, Indian food, Arabian mezze, anything you like, basically. The butter chicken is my favourite! Service was warm and friendly and I’d like to extend a special thanks to the waiters Made, Diwakar and Shubham who made me feel so welcome and who remembered me from earlier stays. There is a small shopping mall at the hotel, with a pizzeria and a supermarket open until late. The hotel is located in Deira, a bit further away from the bustling quarters, behind a major road. You can walk to Deira souqs. The metro is less than 10 minutes away on foot. The hotel is only 20 minutes from DXB airport by car.…
A very beautiful hotel one stop leisure complex. Enjoying a very dynamic location, top class facilities offering a plethora of restaurants a world class gymnasium, lovely Haman and sauna. Surprisingly their is a very good nightlife too even it has its own ice rink. Very committed and hospitalble staff and unbeatable value for money. One of my top three recommendations in Dubai for people to stay.
We were at Hyatt Regency hotel and we booked all our trips and other activities by Rayna Tours. At Rayna Tours 's desk was Ligin and he was very kind, ready to solve our needs and extremely helpfull. Thank you, Ligin and thank all Rayna Tours team Gabriela Alice Enache
This hotel I visit for my first time and I liked it, everything perfect and accurate, every inch in the hotel is shining and clean, the reception guys especially Anwar was very cooperated and give the best advice and assistance in choosing the rooms and services, the view of my room was WOOW (I like 1801), the room service is excellent. The only thing I didn't like is the under-construction area near the hotel, still not included on the map while using the location the map confusing and can't give the correct location and roads
A true five star hotel with all amenities. The reception staffs and the in hotel service are very good. Gold souk is nearby (10 minutes walking) where you can browse around. There is perfume souk, saffron shops and nice local restaurants situated.
