On a longer “tour” of Dubai, we also visited the Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort, a hotel in IHG’s Vignette Collection, on Palm Island in Jumeirah. According to the house's self-assessment, this is a 5-star hotel on an arm of the artificially created Palm Island.

The exclusive beach consists of fine sand and seawater of the highest quality. We felt very unpleasant that the house does not provide its guests with any mineral water free of charge even at outside temperatures of over 40° C in the shade. This should go without saying for a supposed luxury hotel that operates at a high price level. This service is standard in all other houses in the IHG chain.
The hotel's restaurant offers both morning and evening buffet and à la carte dishes. Especially recommended are the delicious seafood platters. The food outlet belongs to the upscale price level; not quite fitting there are the outpatient air conditioners, which are located in part of the restaurant and are probably used to support the home air conditioning. The strong noise generated by the floorstanding devices is rather disturbing in the long run.
At this point we would like to express our thanks to the restaurant's service staff; we particularly noticed Nathaniel and Viesna, whose service readiness is at a high level.

Relaxing with a big family - three rooms. When checking in, one room was upgraded to the category- nice. Decided to upgrade the categories of the remaining two rooms.The difference between rooms with balcony and without balcony is enormous. And then the quest began. Kinda OK like if you get a can of Pepis in the hotel for €6 each at at 300ml, you can not take that with you to the beach security will pounce on you hard and remove it and tell you that if you want a drink pay over there. The beach staff will open an umbrella for you as the heat is mad, put them down if you want a dink just ask and food on the beach at a cost nothing is free I'm surprised they don't bill everyone for breathing the air. Room Small, no balcony, just a lage window but comes with tec like you can put the TV on and go shower as they have speakers in there all controlled by the phone buttons even room cleaning. Do not enter, and so on. The pool is long but not wide. I think there's 2 plus the man-made beach calm warm no waves obviously. Would I recommend this place? NO absolutely nothing around, so if you want something you gave to book a taxi 25 min drive yo Spinneys or another market plus the public can just rock up to the beach for a fee so sometimes it's busy and others not.

Great hotel with its own beach! If you want to find a budget hotel in Dubai with a beach, this is definitely a great option. Suitable for both families with children and young people. The service was at a high level, we booked the most ordinary standard room, upon arrival we were offered to change our room for free to a suite with a balcony, the room was cleaned every day, I would especially like to note the very comfortable bed, pillows and blankets, there was always water in the room. The room had a full kitchen with everything from a frying pan to a dishwasher. Breakfast and dinner are decent. Breakfast was a buffet with fruits, juices, porridge and everything you needed, and dinners were a la carte with a choice of dishes. Drinks are included in the price. On the beach at the bar everything is paid and the water is very expensive. Sunbeds and towels are free for guests. For the money this is a great hotel, we really liked it.

As a very critical consumer I have to say this hotel checked off 90% of my boxes. Excellent staff that really makes this hotel along with very comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. Good location across from the beach and appreciate management not permitting taxis and motorcycles parking in front of the hotel like so many other places!
I have to make special recognition to Executive Chef Hung. He took time out of his busy day to sit down with my wife and offer her a detailed written recipe as he learned she was a gourmet cook with an interest in his food. Thank you!
I also want to thank employee Phuong Hong for her wonderful interaction with us on several occaions during our seven night stay. Very professional and friendly with her smiling face and warm demeanor.
My only recommendations would be to improve the gym. Only two treadmills and one was broken as I walked on it at a fast pace and all of a sudden it suddenly stopped! I almost fell off. I triple checked and the power just cut out. The other equipment is worn and needs replacement.
The rooftop bar restaurant needs a lighter funner food venue for lunch as it is basically the same for the dinner menu. The Happy Hour drink promotion in the lobby is somewhat deceiving. We learned upon our arrival to the bar it was only for a very select number of mixed sweeten drinks and did not include and wine.
Anyway, very good hotel with dynamic staff and a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Good afternoon. I've been living here for more than 4 months. We considered this hotel as an alternative to apartments in Dubai Marina and JLT. We rented room 1 BD (bedroom + living room/kitchen) back in July for a long term (now the price has gone up). The hotel is quite new, although in Dubai everything wears out quickly due to the humid, hot climate. Among the advantages we received: 1. High-quality room cleaning twice a week (special thanks to Abibsha and Agus. Free drinking water, coffee for the coffee machine (available in the room), cream. Also all bathroom amenities. 2. Having a full-fledged kitchen allows you to significantly save on food. In addition to this, a 25% discount on food and drinks in the main restaurant. 3. 50% discount on dry cleaning, which is very convenient. 4. The main advantage of a first-line hotel is, of course, the beach and the sea. There are also swimming pools: 1 for children and 2 for adults, with an entertainment program. There are no problems with sunbeds. The beach is clean (closer to the season they added sand to make it comfortable to get into the water). 5. There is a good gym, but only for adults. Hotel location is the one of the best on the palm, especially from the pool and the beach. I definitely recommend this hotel for whoever is in love with gorgeous views to stay in the one bedroom palm sea view, there is kitchen fully equipped including washing machines and wash dishes. Even the size of that suite is big enough for families as well
