I have stayed 3 time in this property, after Covid it was my first time. Everything remains the same reception and cleaning staffs are good, one thing which I felt is that the hotel has worn out, need some renovations apart from that everything I like in this hotel.
I came from Qatar and stay for a couple of days. Staff are very accomodating, hospitability and affordable room. Food are so good, and room is so cleaned and the place is near to many store and accessible to any place you go.
Very bad service, people in reception are very rude they don't know anything about customer service, specially lady her name is peat. She treats people very bad not only me, also her manager was listening to our conversation and didn't nothing, Also if you have any visitors they will not allow them to get in, and that's very weird.
Bad smell in the room, sometimes cigarettes smell come in from Air conditioner. Bad breakfast .I am in hotel now and could not cancel my reservation for next days , they dont give my money back ! Pool is under maintenance. Parking of hotel smells like crowded toilet! If you don’t want to get disappointed just consider this hotel as bad 2 star hotel.
First room was bad but the management did correct that when told the breakfast on the other hand is shocking set up was not clean and chef blew his nose with a tissue then wiped his hands with it and the cooked at the egg station... the breakfast says International so you would expect that was an American breakfast which is standard anywhere?! Was told it would be available the next day then to be told they didn't know the next day lol so obviously no communication or a very poor standard for sure
It is my 2nd visit to the hotel as Nagi knows me and I have given very good review before. But this time it was disaster for my arrival with Naushad who was the manager who tried to steal money from me. I am really dissatisfied how he treated me even I mentioned that don’t talk to me I’m also from same industry. He said what ever you do nothing will happen, I wanna ask you how ? I love this hotel but with this this kind of people you will lose your guests who is repeated. This message to GM of the hotel to advise your manager who named Naushad become very rude by showing his attitude to trow his guests away. I don’t care him but ask him to maintain his attitude. He will may be say that I was angry if you can review your camera to see how he react . I like the hotel that’s why I come even there are some hotels around. I am not asking to trow him away but please train him to manage his attitude otherwise your team will follow the same…
I stayed there for 1 night, the manager of front desk was rude and lier, at the time of check-in no one there to give a round of room and no explanation about amenities of hotel. Once we entered we tried to call room service for food but telephone not working so we went to reception to tell to fix, the manager who was there Mr. sallah he said they will fix in 5 min but maintanance staff said they can't only in the morning so we went back again to tell them to fix, at the place of apologize the start arguing and not ready to listen anything that makes me very disappointed and I have also hotel background I have never seen such a mind less people in my entire career sorry to say but he don't deserve to be on that place
It is worth starting with the fact that the hotel is in a good location from supermarkets and the metro, which is really a plus. However, further all the pluses end. The room has an extremely outdated look, everything is dirty, the tiles are cracked, there is rust and there is a lot of dust on the furniture. Separately, it is worth mentioning a few cockroaches found in the refrigerator. Slippers are brought only at the hotel's request, but they are not available upon arrival. Breakfast is mediocre but not bad. The air conditioner has no regulation, and therefore either it operates at a very cold temperature, or is completely turned off. Also, a couple of times in the morning the fire alarm was triggered, which deprived of sleep. In addition, employees sometimes called in the morning at 7-8 in the morning, reminding them of breakfast, which I already knew about. It is also worth noting that there is no normal lighting in the room and all the light is a little dim. When I asked for an ironing board and an iron, then I should bring an appliance that does not have any risks of its modes at all and leaks, as well as a board that was extremely dirty. It was impossible to take advantage of this.…
Avoid at all costs. I booked a room more than 3 months ago on Booking.com and today received a message that my card is declined. I provided 3 different cards all working and valid for international use. I even used one of them abroad a week ago. But the hotel claimed that all declined. I contacted them through customer service to provide payment but they refused to accept any form of payment. They just wanted to cancel the room to sell it for a higher price as they are now charging triple the price. They were also very rude when I contacted them directly through messages. Just a bunch of greedy thieves that's all I can say. If you don't want to be screwed and your trip ruined don't book with these people.
First, the staff was very rude. We booked 3 rooms, one room for 3 people (two adults, one child). When we arrived at the hotel the 3 persons room only had one double bed. They refused to give us an extra bed and said we just have to share the bed with the child or pay extra to get an extra bed. They were not helpful at all and just kept repeating that this is the policy and we should talk to the manager the next day if we’re not happy. The child ended up sleeping on the small sofa in that room that night. The next morning the manager was still not in but there was a ‘superior’ named Hope. She was rude and not helpful at all. She didn’t even listen to our complains and just kept repeating that that’s the policy and we should complain to booking.com if we’re not happy. Luckily there was a guy who was very nice and listened to our frustrations (we forgot his name 😭). He also managed to fix us an extra bed. Something they could’ve done from day 1 since there’s literally extra beds just laying in the hallway. The hotel is very old and has many issues (flush not working, plugs not working when lights are off,...). But the customer service is still the thing that bothers us the most. Only nice people we met were the cleaners, the Kenyan guy by the pool and the guy who looked after us mentioned above. The last day we asked the hotel to book us a taxi to the airport. They were going to fix it and the taxi would be ready at 00:30. At 00:15 we asked if the taxi was on its way and the exact guy who told us he was going to fix it started denying this and saying he never said he was going to fix it. After a whole discussion they told us they were going to fix it and book us taxi’s but they ended up calling a friend with a truck. Bear in mind we were with 6 people and the truck could only take 2 + the luggage. Also he said it was a fixed price (60 AED) which is waaaay too much since the hotel is close to the airport but we didnt know. The rest of the family took an official taxi with a meter and they ended up only paying 17 AED for 4 people. Theyre real thiefs and they just try to take as much money as possible from their visitors. Never again…
