While the Holiday International Hotel Embassy District is lauded for its excellent location, guests' opinions are mixed regarding other aspects of their stay. The hotel's atmosphere is appreciated by some for its regal and spacious rooms, yet marred for others by loud music and outdated aesthetics. Travelers commend the room sizes, but cleanliness and room amenities often fail to meet expectations.
Service quality appears to be inconsistent, with reports of both commendable staff and experiences of neglect. Furthermore, visitors are critical of the value for money, citing hidden fees and erratic pricing.

Detailed Reviews
I went to this place with my family and the location is very suitable and awesome 25 minutes away from Dubai international Airport you will get Supermarket just 200 metres away from this property. The checkin process for Swift, the room service was average it usually take 15 to 20 minutes to serve you. The most surprising thing I observe that you don't get any glass crockery inside the room for the same day are charging 10 dhiram. The room clean was good and the major drawback I saw was a washroom in that washroom I was very surprised to see that you only got tub to have bath and in case you are travelling with elders then it will be very difficult to have a bath for the elder because you have to stand inside the top and have to take the bath. The buffet starts from 7:30 am till 10:30 a.m. and at the moment 10:25 they stop filing and sharp at 10:30am they starting packing up the breakfast. The quality of the Buffet was average the menu was repeated and average there was only one life contact and that was eggs station the Indian food like South Indian food parantha was average. As much price they are charging they are providing that type of services only but out of 5 number I will give 3.5

Accommodation at the Holiday Inn, Bur Dubai, is modestly priced. A stone's throw away from the Bur Juman Metro Station, the hotel is close to the tourist attraction of Al Seef, and is near major consulates including those of the USA, United Kingdom, etc. My decently sized room had a two-seater sofa, a fridge, a kettle, etc., and the bathroom was equipped with a bath tub, a bidet, and a hair dryer. Many channels can be watched on the TV. The breakfast spread is adequate and the service is efficient.
I could connect only one of my phones to the WiFi. The supply of tea bags, coffee sachets and water bottles was conservative. Though an entire wall had a window, the view was nothing to talk about.
Housekeeping is scheduled only once in five days.

We flew from the U.K., & were taken to the hotel quickly. The Bellboy met us, took our luggage & we checked in. The moment we stepped out of the taxi, we knew we were among friends...totally delightful people. Lokesh, receptionist, ensured we had a pleasant stay....as did the entire front house team.
From the GM, A Ramzy F & his excellent colleagues, especially Vikash, who was omnipresent, Paul & staff in the restaurant, to the housekeeping staff, we had a most relaxing & enjoyable stay.
Breakfast provided healthy options & the citrus fruit was delicious. We were also given a bowl of fruit in the room, & the bananas were lovely !
Our executive suite was spacious, clean, & the bed uber comfortable. As we had a lot of space, we decided to have room service each evening, which was a good choice. It meant that we could relax after being out all day. The food arrived after about 20 minutes, which was hot, appetising & plentiful.
Sairaj, lifeguard at the pool, is an amazing chap who remembered us from last year.
We stayed for a couple of days prior to joining a cruise, & will be returning in a few months.
The location in the Embassy district is ideal for us for walking, & is close to Al Seef & the Creek.
LuLu supermarket is beside the hotel and is ideal for last minute purchases, although prices are not as cheap as home.
We have stayed here a few times before & have never been disappointed. This time was no exception.... well done, & many thanks to the entire team.

We enjoyed our stay in this Hotel because of the friendly staff from receptionist Liezel and Mr Christian from reservation, cleanliness of the hotel, near to metro station and mall and too many choices of restaurants outside the area. The lifeguard is very focus to our safety and housekeeping attendants are very helpful. For sure we will comeback again. Thank you Holiday Inn Bur Dubai Team.

I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn - Bur Dubai for 17 Days on a personal trip.
The stay here is pretty good. Rooms are spacious and with all modern facilities. Property is little old fashioned from outside but inside it’s good.
While coming to hotel hospitality the staff are very courteous.
From the Front Desk managing Team Mr. Rakesh is very supportive and attentive to all the details which we requested and all concerns.
From the hospitality team Mr. Malav Pandya and team are very helpful. Irrespective of the time they’re at our service with all sort of needs.
In room Dining is bit costly but as I stayed half board I’ve tried all their items. Food is good and prepared according to your needs.
In short one can stay happily here.
Worth revisiting.
Thanks

We stayed at this hotel with a group of Indian 15 peoples, 8 adults and 7 kids, occupying 7 rooms with 1 extra bed.
Rooms were very spacious, clean and having adequate day light. Beds were comfortable and large enough to sleep. standard furniture inside room includes working desk, cupboard, side tables and electronic safe. Bathrooms were large and clean. I didn't find any molds or scratches in bathrooms as mentioned by some in previous reviews.
Breakfast was having multiple options particularly suitable for vegetarian Indian tourists as most of travelers in hotel were Indian. However enough continental items, fresh fruits and breads were also there daily. one more plus point is that breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 10:30 am so if you want to leave early for any activity (like skydiving at 8 am in our case) you will still get breakfast.
Best part of choosing this hotel was its perfect location extremely nearby to Burjuman mall and metro station, only five minutes walking distance. Lulu hypermarket with all groceries was just opposite side on road and famous grocery chain Carrefour was there in Burjuman mall. There were multiple Indian restaurants and fast-food corners within 15 minutes of walk around the hotel. Burjuman metro station is at junction of both red and green metro line so suitable to get metro in any direction of Dubai.
reception staff was efficient and quick to respond and check in and checkout procedure was finished within 10 minutes for 7 rooms.
we stayed on 3rd floor. There are few discotheque in ground floor of hotel which play loud music till midnight. however we did not have any disturbance at 3rd floor.
Highly recommended, particularly for Indian tourists, travelling on their own.

The Worst Experience I have ever.. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. From Reception staff to Hotel manager everyone is terrible. Very bad services from hotel staff. And their breakfast omg It is so horrible can't express, everyday Idli and Vada. Housekeeping guy does not clean the room properly and if you ask to do so they get angry. You keep asking anything they will not give you or take their own good time. And you can't trust them for your own luggage, tourists are responsible for their own stuff. And worst part their room key does not work, you have to get it activated every time before entering into the room from the reception.

Very bad experience from a big name in hospitality industry.
Being a well recognised star property, this particular property in dubai is not providing you with basic necessities like glass/cup in the rooms and are asking you to pay even to get cutlery in your room.
Above that they are taking long hours to deliever basic neccesities like water/ice in the room.
When asked to arrange a call back/visit from the manager, they didnt bother to take a step.
I am a regular traveller to dubai but have never experienced such behaviour like a budget hotel

After staying here for 6 days I can say that Holiday Inn is one of the best hotels in Dubai & the best one in Bur Dubai reason being its perfect location (metro station, supermarkets, cafe etc in its vicinity), good service, polite staff, great hospitality, clean room, spectacular pool area, tasty food. As I stayed here post lockdown my review could be a help to many. In terms of hygiene & sanitization also I would give a good rating to it.Special thanks to Mr. Bharat Sahni(Travel Consultant~Rayna) who made me familiar with the routes in Dubai,Metro,Tourists spots and helped me by answering to my daily FAQs related to travel there;also provided a wonderful ‘Half Day Tour’ at a very nominal charge. Thanks to the chefs for preparing tasty meals and accepting my special breakfast requests.Lastly would like to thank housekeeping and the receptionists(specially Mr.Akshay Prasad) for being extremely polite and helping me throughout my stay there :)

I came here for three nights with my husband during Eid holidays. They charge as much as a hotel near the Burj Khalifa though they don't offer the same view. We get to the hotel and even though they know there are 2 occupants, all the towel, toiletries, slippers, etc are for one person. Multiple calls and 30 minutes later everything arrives. There's no coffee machine, no hair drier, no microwave, not even a notepad in the room even though it's an executive suite. Cherry on top, the coffee machine is swarmed with cockroaches. We decide to leave immediately and say so. We ask our travel agent to do a cancellation. The travel agent sends them a mail for confirmation. They take ages to respond and we had to go multiple times to the reception to make them acknowledge that mail. They charge us any way for one day, so we stay and next day out bodies are covered with welts from bed bugs. The circle of mails continue. The staff does nothing to co-operate. We had to follow up several times. Meanwhile, one of my three day holidays is wasted. I have to cut down on my tour because of the hotel and their apathetic treatment of guests they're charging a bomb. I've wasted my money, time, my holiday is spoilt. And I'm still running after these guys for refund. Avoid this hotel, you could get a better hotel near Dubai Downtime at the same price. Plus you'd be near to all the good places
