Hotel's Favourite
Fantastic Stay on a layover between Europe and Sydney.
The staff were helpful and nice and had solutions for all our problems.
The breakfast was great - lots of choices (including make your own granola station), well stocked and attentive staff. Coffee was really good too.
Swimming pool was great and just what we needed in the hot weather.
Location was superb - 5-10 mins drive to Dubai Mall or 20 mins easy walk (the traffic is so bad that we did the walk a few times and the location of the hotel made this so easy.
Rooms were cool and trendy and bed was good. Cot provided was both comfy and large for our toddler son.
The best bits were the little touches - the children's play area was a great addition and our son loved it so much. Allowing us to keep our luggage with the concierge for 8 hours, allowing us to use the pool and change rooms even after we checked out (we had a night time flight) and allowing us to check-in after midnight.
Overall great place to stay - very close to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall - without breaking the bank.
Look forward to our next stay.

Hello JohnRoseJnr, It sounds like you had a truly fantastic stay with us during your layover in Dubai! Your positive feedback on the staff's helpfulness, the great breakfast with plenty of choices, and the well-maintained swimming pool is wonderful to hear. We are thrilled to learn that the cool and trendy rooms plus the comfortable cot for your toddler son added to your overall positive experience. The little touches you mentioned, such as the children's play area and the flexibility with luggage, pool usage, and late check-in, certainly contribute to a memorable and hassle-free stay. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we are glad to hear that you found it to be a great place to stay near the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall without breaking the bank. We cant wait to host you again for an equally enjoyable stay during your next visit! #Stay Curious, Christine & Team

My husband was staying at Indigo hotel previously, for a short business trip and he enjoyed his stay very much, so he insisted me to try it out too when i was travelling for a vacation with our 9months old daughter.
The first thing i would say that its the most baby friendly hotel i visited so far. Starting from the room interior like soft flooring and no sharp edges so my baby could be crawling and enjoying the room freely, we were ordering some food for her too like scrambled eggs or mashed avocados which was so kind of the hotel to prepare it for us! Thanks for the breakfast crew!
Secondly i loved the vibe and positive energy of the hotel staff i was very impressed about how professional they were, because usually i would easily get bothered and wont like something, but had zero wrong answers, zero no,always ready to help!
Loved the swimming pool and the pool bar lounge area where we spent a lot of time relaxing with some good music and even better coffee! Always a pleasant service with a staff member Alessandro!
I only wish in the pool bar menu were marked the food was spicy or not,i had a bad luck always ordering spicy dishes even i was asking about it before i place the order, so my last day i left without dinner because it was too spicy! So i felt i shouldnt be charged for the food i didnt liked, but this was the only missunderstanding during all my trip...
Very big thanks to the reception staff Alehandro for helping me with fixing my phone and sending me to a local place, thinking of saving my time and expenses, rather than he could simply send us to any apple store were we would spend half day in the queue with a baby...he saw that i was a bit nervous and truly calmed me down helped me with all my personal belongings, strollers and baby bags till i was sitting in the taxi, i always appreciate such service it makes you feel as if staying at a friends house!
Would highly recommend this brand new hotel. Exceptional service and interior!

We stayed for seven nights at the Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai. In principle, its location seems to be not very good as it is situated next to the creek where there are still many buildings under construction. However, the proximity to the Dubai Mall, only 15-minute walking distance, makes it really convenient.
Its eclectic style, like all Indigo Hotels, attracts the customer's attention at all times. With a year in operation, its level of cleanliness and condition are superb.
The breakfast buffet only required the use of gloves to serve food. Personally, we consider it insufficient as a certain number of clients did not respect it.
They offered a huge variety of meals and delectable food.
We visited the Bar Off the Wall 3 times where cocktails, snacks and an array of beverages were served in a cool youthful atmosphere.
The pool, which is located on the second floor, was quite large with ample area to relax and a nice bar. They offered free infused water every day.
We would like to mention the great professionalism and kindness of all the staff without exception. We do not want to give names because we run the risk of forgetting someone, although Mac or Alejandro, among others, made us feel at home and turned our stay into a magnificent experience.
Congratulations to all the team. We will be back soon.

I was a recent long-term guest at the hotel (around 4 months!) and I stay there from time to time; my experience was beyond what I had expected from any regular hotel I have stayed in before; from the service to standards etc.
The rooms were spacious, quirky with modern art, and very decently priced, their sales Manager Reinhard was the most supportive and helpful staff member, and he was not the only one.
The whole experience was Fantastic it was my home away from home; the staff were young and always pleasant and helpful. It being a PET-FRIENDLY hotel, it truly was they were supportive and welcomed all types of animals from cats and dogs etc.
The hotel ambiance very vibrant (hip and artsy) and always has something going on such as art events, fashion pop-ups, look for Astrid the main lady who’s the art director there if you’re looking for cool art pieces. The breakfast and hotel facilities were just right and hip and trendy the servers and staff such as ZOZO and Taimor etc were lovely.
The location is strategic in downtown and off the highway for weekenders from Abu Dhabi and other Emirates. It’s also perfect for young families and groups of friends who want to have a good time in Dubai and pleasant stay. Not the regular boring hotels you see around downtown for sure. I would stay there again and again…

I stayed here for 23 days to complete a 'washout' to allow me to travel to Hong Kong for work while flights were banned from the UK. I was really worried about staying this long away from my family, particularly as a female traveller. However, staying in Hotel Indigo made the experience really positive and I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.
The hotel is beautifully and uniquely designed with great facilities. The gym and pool are perfect. The wifi is great if you need to do some work and the room itself is perfect - so clean, well designed and comfortable. The housekeeping staff are amazing and the hotel is immaculately clean with many Covid safe practices in place.
The hotel breakfast was so nice. I really appreciated how the staff take time to say hello and remember my name. It was also so kind for them to acknowledge my birthday and arrange some gifts from my friends in my room to celebrate while so far from home.
The other thing is that the hotel feels so safe. Hotel residents can only gain access to the floor their own room is on and the hotel room door locks by a hidden chain on the inside at night to help make you feel safe when staying alone.
I am really grateful to the staff for making this a really positive trip and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.
Thank you for a great stay!

Stayed in the Design Suite of this brand new hotel. Had an amazing stay with exceptional service and fabulous hotel rooms.
The hotel is beautifully designed with attention to detail. Every place of the hotel has art and is inspired by the local Emirati culture. Common areas and lobby are miniature art galleries showcasing local artists and their creations. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. Wireless charges, smart room controls and cieling to floor windows give a beautiful view of the Dubai skyline and the marina.
Close proximity to Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Sheikh Zayed road and the Design district make it a perfect hotel location for leisure as well as business.
Hotel had a wonderful pool deck with a bar and creative workspaces to inspire your soul.
Definitely coming back here again to explore the heritage and artsy side of Dubai.

Its great to see how much you appreciated our thoughtful design and plethora of art throughout, we're indeed very fortunate to boast such a large collection (that will soon be available for purchase in Bakala Jooos, our unique concept store offering). As soon as we arrrived at the hotel we were impressed with the detail that had gone into the exterior and the interior, so many different aspects to take in and enjoy.
We were warmly welcomed into the hotel by Mohammed, check in was very smooth and efficient. Upon entering the room we were impressed with the design, size and beautiful view of the creek. Every detail has been thought about carefully, from the comfortable beds to the very stylish Shisha lamps, which I believe you can purchase from the hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels around the world so very particular about placement of mirrors and plug sockets and this hotel has certainly thought about those.
We decided to go and explore the hotel and Rafael noticed us walking around and offered a tour of the hotel and explained the different areas and some history into the art installations so if you do have time please take a tour and you will also learn about the history behind the design.
The pool area is a lovely place to relax and unwind, a lot of different choices at Orange Peels for lunch. We requested cocktails which were not on the menu and they were made perfectly by Kumar.
We dined in Open Sesame that evening, the food was delicious and service very attentive. The outside space with the mosaic water feature is a great space to relax and unwind. After dinner we visited Orange Peels for another cocktail made by Tarek, once again very efficient and friendly service.
Upon check out we were asked about our stay and welcomed back in the future. Location of the hotel is superb, close to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa.
Will definitely be returning to this fabulous hotel.

We stayed at the Indigo Downtown Hotel for a week in Nov/Dec 2021 and it was just a blast.
First of all the design is fascinating, the rooms are clean and hygienic and spacious! You have all facilities you need around you! I even liked the shampoo and conditioner provided in the rooms a lot! The location is a 10 min walk from the Dubai Mall, the fountain show and lots of great restaurants in Downtown Dubai.
The Hotel staff is super friendly and even in the gym you can get guidance from a professional fitness coach. At the pool you can have whatever you wish, and in the night it gets a very cozy bar where hanging out feels good.
The environment just next to the hotel is in progress I would say, so you can see few constructions but it does no harm.
All in all I can only recommend staying at Indigo, it‘s a neat hotel with lots of eyecatching design elements and top location.

The Hotel Indigo brand has always been my favourite in the IHG portfolio, and the Dubai property, being brand new, definitely lives up to my expectations.
I was upgraded into a corner "suite" and although not really a suite, the room was large and modern with a lot of quirky design features. The same can be said for the public areas as well, and actual thought has been put into the designs. The hotel even offered a tour of the property to showcase the artifacts and design. The location of the hotel was also decent (for the price) - walkable to the Dubai Mall (15min ish) and the metro, though you may or may not want to try this mid-day depending on how well you can handle the heat. There was also a daily shuttle to La Mer beach which I appreciated. Food and beverage options were ample on site, though I did not find the food/drink quality worth the premium price - my portion sizes were questionable, cocktail tasted watery and service was slow and unresponsive at times.
The guest services team though, especially Big Mac and Chantelle (sorry if the names weren't exactly accurate), definitely added a lot to my experience. Throughout my stay they greeted me by my name every time I walk through the lobby and were always happy to chat and answer my questions.
All around this hotel is a great choice for shorter stays if you need to be in the Dubai Mall/Business Bay vicinity, especially for the rates at the moment. With IHG revamping their elite benefits later this year, this hotel will definitely remain on my list for my next trip.

I just spent two nights in Indigo Downtown Dubai. For a 4 star hotel and this price , it is over expectations.
Goods: location is pretty good of course you need the taxi to go around but it is very clise to Burj khalifa . Lobby is not big but staff are super friendly. Hotel is new and very very clean. Rooms are beautiful and view is stunning ( I was in 13th floor). Bed is comfortable. Room service is perfect.
Not goods!: the food in Open sesame restaurant ( main restaurant) is not good enough. Breakfast is limited.fridge in the room was empty ( may be because of Ramadan). Rooms do not have pen, pencils or paper ( may be because of COVID) and there is no shoeshine in the room.
Overall it is a very nice hotel with pool and everything, I think it should be a 5 star.
Note: do not forget to ask for the place of safe and hairdryer, you may not find them😂😜
