Stayed in a fan room on ground floor fronting a nice laid back garden setting for 70K. Room was clean and tidy and everything worked. WIFI was a little off/on but that is normal for most cheap guesthouses in Laos. Location is only 15 minutes walk from Night Market and the main "tourist ghetto" part of town. Plenty of cheap... This place is located every well in Luang Prabang. Every good pricing ($10USD a night). Got an A/C room which actually was really powerful and was really nice to come back to after a long day of walking. Located close to Night Market and other areas. Also washes clothes cheaply. Reception very nice and offered up cheap drinks. Also offers... More

$15 for AC and $9 for fan room is not bad deal for Luang Prabang. Rooms in house but also around a bit of a garden with a few tables. WIFI works most of time but not the best. Clean and reasonable location. Couple of good, cheap local restaurants up the road to the left. The woman on the reception... More

The room was great value for the money - big, clean, and quiet if your away from the road. I had money go missing while staying in this Guest House - not 100% sure if a staff member took it or I got short changed while in Luang Prabang however it left me with a bitter feeling towards this place... We have stayed at Jaliya several times over the last three years. The rooms on the ground floor are a bit smaller than those upstairs but the price is the same($15.00). The shower is hot and good blankets are provided for winter nights. The courtyard garden is a quiet place to read and relax or use the wifi. It is... More

After a long ride with slow boat in rain we found from lp this guesthouse that offered for fair price (60.000kip) double room inside house. Room was big and clean, has hot water and fan. As already mentioned is a bit further from center and does not rent bicylces (only motorbikes). To the center there is a 10 min walk.... More
