We stayed two nights and its central location was extremely useful. We were recommended it by another hotel manager as i wanted to try out another hotel on the second visit to LP. The reception staff are helpful and were willing to show me different rooms. This property actually has seven different buildings : we came to know about it...

This hotel was average in my opinion and a bit too expensive for that. The room ( in Vanida house) was nice and simple and clean indeed. We had a safety deposit box which is important. But it was very very noisy! The neighbor kept dogs and birds (roosters...) and there was very loud music as well. We could barely...

The Sala Prabang Hotel is situated in a wonderful location by the Mekong River and close to local bars and restaurants. There are plenty of places to book trips, hire bikes etc. around the hotel. The local markets and cultural sites are a short distance away. The hotel itself is quite old but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It...

I stayed three nights at the Ban lao room. Salad Prabang is a collection of renovated buildings. The villa, Banlao, and Charlee are connected to the main lobby. With others in separate building nearby. The room is lovely, simple but tastefully furnished. Breakfast is served across the street by the Mekone river. Overall, good amibience and location. I recommend staying...

The Sala Prabang is in a great location, overlooking the Mekong River. Our room was on the upper floor and had a small terrace overlooking the river and riverside, on the other side of the road. Breakfast was served on a larger terrace, overlooking the riverside trees and we could feel the tranquility as the boats of varying sizes plied...

We stopped by this hotel after spending a few nights at two great but expensive places and wanted to save money on the next five nights. It was a good thing we did. The hotel actually consists of a few different buildings situated near one another with varying rates from about 30 - 80 USD. We stayed two nights in...

Very clean and pleasant staff. However the rooms have no sound insulation and are very noisy if someone is leaving early in the morning or a child is crying at night No fridge which is a nuisance in a hot climate. Also the shower is very small. Good position and the breakfast was good.

Old styled roofed two storey building with wooden flooring gives a different feel. The breakfast is served at the riverside like all others. No scope for vegetarians. The rooms are airy, specious and quite comfortable with a small sit out. there are coffee tea facilities. The main road is only two mnts walk through the monestry at the back.

Lovely location, superb breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Mekong River. They do have various satellite pensions around the area, in fact we were in one round the back which had 8 rooms and was very pleasant. We spoke to people who were in other buildings and they all said that they were lovely.

The Sala Prabang is a little different from your normal hotel as it is spread over different old houses. Our room was on the small side but had everything we needed except hanging space which was woefully lacking. The twin beds were only 2 foot 6 and wee definitely firm! The staff were friendly and helpful and the included breakfast...
