The best thing here is the location! Just next to the river and still close to the city. The dorm room is also good but only one toilet/shower for 10 people is not too much. But for the price (we gave 45000 for one dorm bed) its nice.

I happened to reach here midnight with no phone. Has some difficulty contacting the owner. White bedsheet and white pillow case. Very clean room and toilet with warm shower. I meet a lot of friends from there. Their tour package and bus ticket is very cheap!!

I arrived at 01/04/2015 with my friend. House was cleaned and simple. Water was good. Above all, mirror was very big, so women could use conviently. Host was very kind. Unfortunately, a little bug came out but that's okay. Wi-fi was not good well. You think this point. But I wanted to go here again. Thank you.

Chitlatda is a cheap and basic guesthouse at a good location in Luang Prabang. Ok shower with warm water and a nice bed. The guesthouse provides free internet and cheap laundry service. Besides.that the guesthouse was clean. You have to ask for new towels and toilet paper, but I guess thats just Laos culture.

I arrived at Luang Prabang a couple days ago, around midnight. Every guesthouse around Xayana was full, luckily we found this one right in front of the Mekong River.. The room was clean and decent. The wi-fi was quite slow.. Close to the night market.. Price was 100,000 Kip for a double standard room.

The guesthouse is located on Mekong riverside, close to the main streets and the night market, yet quiet and peaceful like a Lao local house. The room is quite small yet clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful but couldn't understand basic English which may lead to miscommunication when it comes to more complicated requests.

I stayed here for a few days and after months of traveling, it was neither the worst nor the best. It was fine, which is completely acceptable especially at this price point. The location is great, very short walk to everything, including the main road. It is located right at the river, but there are no views from your window.... More

Stayed here for 4 nights on recommendation from tripadvisor. The guesthouse is on the riverfront and a short walk away from main street. Vong is the owner of the place and makes u feel part of the family straight away. He helped us with all our requests, tuk tuks, laundry, waterfall visits and organised our onward journey to Vang Vieng... More
