My husband and I liked the room - spacious, good interior, there is a balcony with two chairs where we drank coffee every morning, + electric kettle, bathroom facilities are ok, + hairdryer. Pool is awesome. Breakfast was not impressive but I prefer eating outside anyway. First day we tried to reach city center by foot that was rather hard....

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and beautiful garden. The location is out of the city center but bicycles are available. Unfortunately the pool was being renovated at the time I stayed there. The rooms are bungalow style, spacious and clean with a comforable bed.

With hindsight I would have elected to stay closer to town since we spent almost every waking hour in there. The facilities are fine, clean but a little worn. Food was good and service was friendly and helpful. Getting drinks served by the pool wasn't particularly easy even though there were few guests staying at the time.

The check in process was the first sign that this was no paradise. Arrived with another family and there was no one to check us in. The person in the lobby did not know what to do, they found someone else and said oh give than that room, we had booked and paid for a family suite - but the...

The rating for this would have been higher were it not for the somewhat intrusive chanting from a nearby religious centre. Otherwise, the service, facilities and location (out of town with a shuttle service) was very pleasant.

The rooms were pretty basic. The safe didn't work, the bathroom could use a bit of attention. The towels for the pools were pretty sad - thread bare and thin. The breakfast was ok but limited. Overall the place could use a bit of attention. There were many lights out around the resort which made it difficult to manoeuvre at...

The area was nice and the rooms very ok - a bit damp. The pool was nice, but the service level was very poor and the staff seemed like they did not care about the guests. The breakfast was the worst I have had during 4 weeks ind asian. I will only recommend this for the pool and a swin...

Honestly i chose this place because it had a pool.. And i haven't been disappointed. We had it all for ourselves and it was perfect! The staff is great and can accomodate pretty much anything. Food, transportation, guided tours... A great place to spend some relaxing time!

The Paradise Resort was amazing, we loved it here. The room is stunning and large, with your own little balcony. The bathroom was okay, looked a little worn but it was very clean and everything worked fine. The pool and restaurant area is so nice, could spend a whole day relaxing by it. The breakfast was great too, had all...

“ok - you know you were in Laos you could here the house lizards at night, but no load music, so that was nice.”

“We paid an upgrade for a river view room but found the other rooms equally good. The standard rooms have a garden view but given that the river banks are full of trees, you don't actually see that much of the river as you might like. So if you are hesitant whether an upgrade is worth the additional money, go for a standard room.”
