We booked a guesthouse room (one of the 2 cheap ones, with fan) and we enjoyed our stay a lot. It has a nice garden and a small "lake" with fish. Located 10 - 15 min walking from the city center / night market, but just behind a temple - great for seeing the morning alms. The owner is a...

Wonderful stay in room 3, for 5 nights over Christmas for our family of 5. Two very comfortable queen size beds plus a cot brought in for our youngest daughter was no problem. Large property with cute garden where they serve a hot (eggs, baguette, butter/jam, fruit, coffee/tea) breakfast from 7:30-9:30am. Large property that backs directly on to the monastery,...

We planned to visit Luang Prabang for 2 nights and booked this guest house because it was in the Lonely Planet. We ended up staying for 4 nights. It's central, quiet (we didn't hear the monks early in the morning as we wore ear plugs). The owners were kind and helpful. We paid extra for breakfast. The room was large...

Recommended in the lonely planet book so decided why not. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. The owner's family is very nice and works hard to make sure the guests are happy. Super cheap laundry service and they even fold your clothes. Only complaint would be poor WiFi upstairs but just get unlimited data sim for...

Guest Houses in LP range from rock-bottom filthy dives at $6/night to very high-end exclusive lodgings over $100/night. This place lands smack in the middle of that range, but if you know to ask, you can sometimes get a humbler but cheaper room in the back. Upon arriving from months endured in Viet Nam in desperate need of a massive...

We booked through Agoda and when we arrived, we were sent to the hotel of his sister, just two streets further. We could have breakfast in this hotel and it was ok, also the breakfast to take away for the last morning. All in all we didn't like to be sent to the other one, even if the new one...

I felt the guesthouse was just okay. I arrived early on a night bus from Vang Vieng. The only guy up wouldn't open the gate for and spoke no English. Ended up going to get some breakfast until it opened. Went back the only English speaker was asleep, a young kid, they woke him up and he checked me in....

A guest-house with large rooms near the tip of the peninsula in Luang Prabang and close to two large vats. It consists of a number of separate buildings rather than single building as would be usual. My room was quite spacious--felt about as large as my apartment back home!--and had a comfortable four-poster bed. The A/C was a bit wonky...

I didn't three nights here recently some friends. The rooms are huge and ours had four poster beds. The rooms all felt a bit worn, however, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast consisted of basic western food made to order and despite the ordering being a bit disorganised, was quick to arrive. The guesthouse is located next to Wat Xieng Thong and...
