We stayed at LPB hotel for two nights, it was the first time for us to stay at Luang Prabang!!. This hotel is nicely situated on a hill a short distance from the main part of town. The room was very nicely appointed and very comfortable with a nice terrace on the hill overlooking beautiful Luang Prabang. This hotel is...

Our transfer was by smile cruise from the river.check in was smooth and reception desk was nothing more than a desk.the views when walking round the hotel are spectacular. The pool catches your eye first. It is huge and set on a mountain top in Laos. The rooms are a little dated but relaxing by the pool made up for it. The staff was very gracious and helpful. This is a poor, small country. As our guide said, the hotel is rated 5 star to travelers but 1000 stars...

Enjoyed a lovely 4 nights here. Due to bad weather we couldn't use the pool but it did look inviting and well kept. Free shuttle bus into town and return. There are set times for the bus and we often phoned outside of the set times and staff were happy to take or pick us up from town straight away....

This hotel definitely has the best view in Luang Prabang. The hotel itself is great, sprawling rooms, with big showers and bath. The swimming is a very big size with beautiful views of all of Luang Prabang and as far as the eye can see. They have happy hour everyday at the poolside bar. Shuttle bus service in and out...

My boyfriend and I stayed here in Nov and were given a room in the separate house on the left of the main resort area for $175 per night. It was not worth the price - the furniture was old, the bathroom was old, the pillows were terrible (way too big) the shower was terrible and the air conditioning blew...

If you are a 5 stars hotel you can't charge to the customers for slippers...19$! Unpleasant gesture, whenever in most of the hotel are FREE. Wi-fi malfunctioned.Cool water in the bathroom. I only appreciate the good disposition of your staff. You must improve a lot of details.

The amenities were old, the food was terrible and it was way too expensive. Luang Prabang itself isn't worth more than a night's stay, and you shouldn't stay here. It's too far from town and just super isolated.

Stayed here with my partner for 5 nights in Oct/nov and from the check in to check out the service was just first class! We both agreed this was the best service we've ever encountered anywhere during travelling and that's saying a lot! Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The charming hideaway of Luang Prabang is one of Indochina’s gems and the showpiece of Laos. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995, the well preserved city is more of a sleepy backwater than a modern metropolis. Wedged into the confluence of the mighty Mekong and lesser Khan river, Luang Prabang's peaceful location sets the pace for the unhurried way of life in the second largest city in Laos. Its grid-like road network makes it virtually impossible to get lost, and the entire town can be covered on foot in a day. ... more   less
