The guest house’s location is great, right next to the markets and temples. The area is relatively calm, we were a bit unlucky the first night as the next day was bank holiday, so the locals were having a very loud party. But after that, the other nights were quiet. Everyday our room was cleaned and had new towels, and...

This guesthouse has very basic but comfortable rooms. We had a hot shower, king bed and small fridge and television. They have hotel Wi-Fi, include breakfast and airport transfers. It is at the end of the old part of town between near the start of the morning and night markets. You can walk easily to the world heritage sites and...

I've been staying in various accommodation while traveling for the last six weeks and this is only the second review I've written in my life. We arrived late so checked into a different hotel that was not as good and more expensive. The next day me and my wife wanted to be more in the centre so after walking around...

I stayed here for 3 nights this week & had a very comfortable stay. The room was a reasonable size but quite basic. However it did have a small fridge & some English language tv channels. The bed was comfortable, the air con' worked, the wifi was good, the shower was hot & everything was clean so nothing to grumble...

We enjoyed our stay at Mekong Moon in. The room was cozy and simple and good air conditioning. But the best part about our stay here was definitely the staff, they were so helpful, happy and always wanted to help and do their best. If we ever come back to Luang Prabang, Mekong Moon in is the first choice, for...

From the minute we arrived, the treatment we received was outstanding. We got to Mekong Moon Inn at the peak of the afternoon with temperatures hitting 39degrees with heavy backpacks to carry also. When we arrived, we were looked after impeccably with fresh lemon water, cold face towels and some fruit also. We were then shown a map to the...

We stayed at Mekong Moon for six nights and found it to be a clean, quiet, lovely hotel. Amazingly well-situated in central Luang Prabang, the alleyway location provides a little more of daily Lao life than you'd otherwise get at other hotels and is only 30 seconds away from the Mekong waterfront. The beds are huge, aircon more than adequate,...
