Overpriced and not very clean The room we booked through Agoda was a normal size. Bed was good but bath room was not very clean with a shower curtain stained we had to ask for clean towels. Breakfast was not served on time. During our three days there the bed was never made and the tenant wanted us to pay... More

Stayed here 3 nights, room is a bit smallish but cute. The location is great, right on the river, restaurants all around, the main street around the corner. Host is very friendly and helpfull! I did however order an airport pickup, which didnt show up.

We were booked for 7 nights but only stayed one. The bathroom was very mouldy, the shower curtain only hung by a couple of rungs, could not use the deck because of bird droppings, toilet seat was a balancing experience. We were charged for 7 nights. Beware of booking websites as you have no recourse if your accommodation is substandard.

We've been at this guesthouse for 4 nights and we enjoyed it very much. The room was a little bit small but cosy and the people were friendly. The breakfast was delicious and fresh made. The guesthouse is near the mainstreet that means easy to walk. Greetings Erika&Andy

Nice and peaceful place to stay in the historical center of Luang Prabang near major temples. Friendly welcome and sensible advices, good and typical breakfast along Nam Khan. I'll be back for sure...

The hotel has a nice location. If you want to go to see the monks in the morning you don't have to go near the main roads, you can just go near the hotel. Rooms are clean (i was surprised to read the bed bugs review :o), and the staff is nice. For breakfast they offer a wide range of... More

This is a little oasis of peace and tranquility, and you can't go wrong by staying here. That was a great find. Our original plan was to stay here for 2 days and then move further out. Loved it here so much we stayed 5 days. The owner was very accommodating and although we couldn't stay in our original room the... More

Had a difficult time finding a mid range hotel in LP. Reserved a superior room w/king through Agoda for $50 after all their fees. What they offered was a very small dark room with a double bed. We couldn't walk around if we opened our packs. We said we booked a superior room, but they wouldn't budge - and since... More

We have stayed on this quiet side of Luang Prabang before overlooking the Nam Khan river but wanted to try one of the many new guesthouses a springing up along the river. The location balances peaceful setting, especially evenings and at night with close proximity to most major temples and some restaurants and shops. We negotiated the only room (number... More

Overpriced (comparative to what's around) room at the side (number 6). A damp smell greets you as you enter the small room (rising damp??). We would have endured the four nights booked if we didn't wake up itching. On closer inspection, bugs were evident in the sheets. We asked to see another room and when we saw hairs (the short...
