I stayed here for two separate nights. The first night my room was downstairs and it was very disappointing. The window is right to the street, and there was too much noise coming in. The second night I was in one of the upstairs rooms, and they were much better. Bigger, and totally quiet. The wooden floors have some character!...

The location is great: right across from the seasonal wooden bridge over the Nam Khan River; a block from the main road with shops, restaurants, tour offices, etc.; a few minutes from all the temples; pleasant walk to the tip of the peninsula where the Mekong River meets the Nam Khan. My ground floor room with a terrace was basic...

This white building was erected toward the end of the 20th century overlooking the NamKhan river, a tributary of the Mekong. Across the street is a tiny bamboo bridge crossing the river to let folks getting to and out of a small island during the dry season. The receptionist is very efficient although EN or French communication is minimal! Staff...

We stayed at both hotel locations, the river view in a view room, and in the sister hotel a couple of blocks up towards the Mekong. Both hotels were nice with the river view being an older heritage hotel with beautiful antique furnishings and lots of gorgeous wood accents. Homemade jam for breakfast which you will appreciate after the prepackaged...

My experience at Saynamkhan River View was excellent. The hotel is very well located, it faces to Nam Khan river, just one block behind the main street where you can join the alms giving in the morning. Many restaurants, temples and the night market just only 5 minutes walk. Saynamkhan River View has a nice building, set in the old...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel has two locations, one by the river and the other 2 streets back. I would rate both locations the same, but for different reasons. We stayed one night in the riverside location. The bedroom was spacious, and quiet. We slept really well here. The wifi was also very good. The...

I had s very pleasant stay at this hotel for six days. The French owner who also drove me to the airport when I checked out, was very friendly and helpful. I stayed in the old wooden house (the hotel has two adjacent buildings a new and old one) and really enjoyed it. The room was very spacious, clean, with...

They have another hotel. not on the river - Saynamkhan Hotel Vat Nong and it doesn't have an entry on Trip Advisor. The rooms are adequate and the staff delightful but they DO NOT serve local breakfast, only eggs and fruit and croissants. I asked several times since wherever I travel I want to eat what the locals eat. Everywhere...

My experience at Saynamkhan River View was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and had a wonderful relaxed sense of humour. The man who owned it, had a very calm disposition and this seemed to filtrate through the whole business. It was such a relaxing place. From the housekeeping to the front desk, the staff are kind and happy....

This is a small boutique hotel adjacent to the Nam River and has a short walking distance to places of interest including night market. Our room was in the wooden house section as we thought the river view may be nice. However the browny colored river is mostly obscured from the trees. The room itself was presentable, but the bathroom...
