We stayed for four nights in October 2012. Everything about this hotel was first rate. The room was spacious and clean. The setting on the river lovely and the staff were exceptional. The restaurant provided excellent food, probably the best we found in Laos. Thank you John & Tuk

We stayed in Le Bel Air for four nights from September to October 2012 having come from Cambodia. We didn't realise that they had a free airport pick up so remember to ask for this in advance. The hotel greeted us with welcome drinks in a beautiful lush garden before we were shown to our cabin. A huge bed welcomed...

We spent three nights in Le Bel Air hotel during September and we loved it. Le Bel Air offers a fantastic value for the price they charge. All the hotel employees were always very nice and always ready to assist us on our requests. We stayed in the bungalow which is very spacious, clean and offers a private balcony with...

Myself and friend spent 3 nights at the hotel and everything was just perfect. Our room on 2nd floor was wooden decorated, room itself was huge whilst a 'transparent' bathroom and a balcony were also impressively huge, too. Since the hotel was located by the Nam Kong river, next to the old bridge, no wonder the view (from our room,...

After staying at Le Meridian in Chiang Mai for 4 nights - which felt like the big city to me - arriving at Le Bel Air was a breath of fresh air. The grounds were lush and green with the river was only yards from our door...it was simply a beautiful place. They have bikes that you can check out...

I chose to treat myself and rent one of their bungalows for several days. Arriving was a bit deceiving until you walked down the stairs from the main road at the foot of the old bridge. Then I was greeted by a wonderful group of people at reception. I arrived early in the am so they allowed me to rest...

Personally, we would not want to stay anywhere else in Luang Prabang, given the comfort and the price. If, however, you want to be in the centre of things this is not for you. But for those of you who enjoy calm and verdure, and are happy to hop on a hotel-provided bicycle for the less than ten minute ride...
