well located close to Main Street of Luang Prabang, the Morning markets and Night Markets and basically all attractions. Room was very dark which made it feel small. Their was air conditioning and ceiling fans. Good pressure water in shower. Poor breakfast. Friendly staff. Basic but met our needs.

Rooms are very small but clean and well maintained with a traditional decor. Front office staff was friendly; location on a quiet street on the peninsula is superb. It's one of the slightly bigger hotels in the old part of town with some tour groups staying there. If that's what you are looking for Villa Chitdara is a decent choice....

Spent 5 nights here on the last week of March 2017. Pros: 1. Ideal location in a quiet area near top attractions like Phousi Hill, Wat Xieng Thong, Royal Palace Museum, night market, and even the boat station to Pak Ou cave. 2. Cozy room with balcony. Clean and well maintained. Request for a room on 2nd floor. 3. Wonderful...

We enjoyed our three nights at Villa Chitdara, a cozy boutique hotel close enough to the action, but far enough away from the noise. The rooms were well appointed--ours had a little balcony that overlooked the garden and was perfect for afternoon drinks--and the bed was the comfiest one we splet on in Laos. The staff is friendly and the...

Stayed 3 nights in the villa, got the room in the inner block with garden view. The villa was situated in a quiet street yet very near to the center with all the restaurants and spa. It was in a very good location for us to explore Luang Prabang. The room is clean, spacious and with good wifi. Breakfast was...

This was the best room our tour put us in, during a very long journey around Asia. the heavy use of teak wood created a very positive impression and along with the cleanliness was a welcome relief from other mid range hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful even with limited english and my limited khmer. Breakfast was buffet style...

This small hotel is in a great location for visiting Luang Prabang. The rooms and staircase are rosewood that is polished to a beautiful colour. The front desk were helpful for directions and suggestion for dinner. They also have bicycles for $1/day which is a great way to see this UNESCO world heritage site. There are roosters that will wake...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in room #3. First thing was the staff, though friendly, did not give us that much information on the hotel (breakfast times, where breakfast is, turn in your key when you go out, etc...). Secondly, though the location is good, close to the center but off the main street, at least...

We were travelling with our kids (4 and 7 years old) and stayed at Villa Chitdara for 5 nights. It is located on a quiet side street in the beautiful, old part of town with many attractions within walking distance. We stayed in room 2 on the ground floor in the old building with balconies facing the street but moved...
