I really enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse. Convenient location, nice quiet street near beautiful temples, very nice and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Just a few blocks from the main street and night market but completely buffered by the beautiful colonial house and gardens behind it. Motel style rooms but clean and spacious enough overlooking garden area. Owner is very helpful and kind.

A beautiful old French house nestled very close to mighty Mekong river. Rooms are spacious and well ventilated. Rite opposite monastery, you may witness monk taking alms rite from the hotel door. They provided clean sheets room and running water in washroom. Practically 5 mins walk from all major tourist spots, markets and eating joints are close by. The river...

No frills, but helpful staff, inexpensive and clean accommodation, and quiet. WiFi ok and reliable. Not only is it centrally located, but a bricked pathway to the main street cuts through two temple courtyards. Monks chanting in the morning and evening create an almost mystical experience.

First they seemed not to have our reservation but after we...

A nice old house that's well maintained. I think it would be hard to beat this place for convenience to both the river and town. There's a good coffee shop within 2 mins walk of the hotel, near the river. The staff are helpful if not grinning like Cheshire cats as some people seem to expect from normal people living...

A peaceful oasis where you can view the alms ceremony without the commercial rock show at the main wat. The photographic history of the family In the foyer is evocative. A gin and tonic in the garden great way to relax. The staff were helpful and if you show respect to the elderly lady it is repaid in spades. Very...

I had stayed there before on another visa run from Thailand and the staff was pleasant and I decided to do the same this time! I called them a couple of days ago and they priced me 1000 BHT per night {in Thailand this would get me a 4 star room}. I got there and was greeted by the guy...

“I would stay away because she can turn on you if u say anything that displeases her. she is rude, always has been unfriendly and pretends she does not speak english but she does when it benefits her. the guys that work for her are absolutely adorable. the room is ok, the garden looks nice. but I would make sure that u check the bed has not been used and sheets are not changed and also the mattress has gone all lumpy when I checked with my hands...no way I would lay my body on that bed again. I would also fear saying anything that she may not agree with. she is dangerous, in my opinion. A good room? stay at Sayo next door.”
