stayed at this hotel for our last 3 nights in Laos. Good location, lovely to eat breakfast on the patio, nice and clean rooms, could do with a little more soap and shampoo in the rooms. Beer I the fridge was cheaper than some of the restaurants in town! Don't you just LOVE those monks banging their gongs at 4...

We stayed on the second floor, the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed (fridge, AC, pleasant bathroom). The rooms have a lot of beautiful wood in their construction and decoration. The breakfast is simple and the same every morning (coffee and bad juice, baguette and freshly made eggs to your order with a rasher of bacon if...

I found this hotel by chance. I think it represents good value. The rooms are simple and clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is simple (eggs and bread) and is served in the quiet garden area. There is a temple next door which is beautiful.

Villa Saykham is very central to the main street in Luang Prabang and is next door to a temple. Yes, the monks do hit a gong about 5.00am however only for about 10 seconds and it never disturbed us, if this is the biggest criticism then it is pretty good, The rooms are comfortable with nice timber the bed was...

This was without doubt the best hotel we stayed in whilst travelling around South East Asia recently. The street approach to the hotel is not spectacular and the reception area is modest. However stepping through into the large garden area where the accommodation blocks are is like stepping into an oasis. Lots of cool areas provided by tall palms and...

Small hotel, in a central location. Nice beadroom, lovely wooden floors and ceiling. Quiet location until 4am when the Temple next door starts beating the drum at about 4 oclock in the morning. Nice breakfast

Our nicely decorated room was clean and comfortable, and the fridge was useful, but there was a bit of a smell of damp inside. The location is also excellent, although the map on the hotel website is incorrect - better to look for the road name on Google Maps, rather than searching for the hotel name which would also take...

We only stayed one night but were in Luang Prabang for 6 in total. We moved in for our last night as we were not near the center and were recommended this hotel. It is right next door to a beautiful small temple. The rooms were very clean and comfortable thought the bed is hard. Nice size and lots of...

At the "quiet" end of the night market, close to all the restaurants - an ideal location for our stay at Luang Prabang. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms with adequate facilities. Basic breakfast provided. Intermittent internet/WiFi. Next to a temple which wakes their monks at 4am for their morning pray with gongs, which means you will be awake at the...

This is our second time to Lang Prabang, the first time we were out of the centre, but his time we stayed at Villa Saykham, it's very nice. Staff are great, location perfect, ESP if you want to get up early for the monks which is just around the corner. The staff didn't even get narky when we read our...
