It seems all the money was spent on the downstairs reception. The rooms are very basic for the price, wifi failed and management was largely absent. Breakfast is a walk to another hotel and rationed and basic. If this was charging us$40 on then it is value. Otherwise there are better deals in LPB.

So sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. Especially with the Wifi not working which is so important for staying in touch with our loved ones. We do our best with the wifi, but Luang Prabang and Laos being a developing country, some days or weeks, it is hard to get consistent service. We know how frustrating it can...

I've been here twice, so far, and the Eggs Benedict is highly recommended, although the menu choice is minimal. Also see the glass coffee machine with the gas burner underneath. The staff are on the ball and the room very interesting with different coffees and machines, bone China display and wooden floors and panelling. Highly recommended.

It's a lovely inn very conveniently located. The cafe serves great coffee and has wonderful porch. The manger was very helpful in arranging transportation for us. Our room was comfortable, though the monk's bell at 4 am was very close to our head on the second floor, so be warned that you won't be sleeping late.

I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2013. This hotel is only 5 rooms, nice location on Sakkaline road and the same street of night market. This hotel is quiet, suitable for people who want to rest. Staffs are really nice and helpful. you can borrow the bicycle to ride around the town. the only weak point of it...

What is there not to like about this place for the kind of traveler who is on a moderate budget, wants a nice, clean, conveniently located place that is well lit, secure and has hot/cold running water, cool a/c and quiet rooms and clients. There are only a few rooms, but during the low season, it was not a problem....

We stayed two nights at the Chang Inn Hotel after already staying 7 nights in other guesthouses in Luang Prabang. The Chang Inn was defInitively the best place at reasonable price of 30$ per night. The staff was very friendly and supportive, we directly got cold drinks after arrival and our luggage was taken care off. But even better was...

We did not book this hotel, but turned up and they had a room available for us Room: It was a downstairs room, very small, double bed, not much room for our suitcases. We did leave Luang Prabang for several nights and came back to the Chang Inn and had an upstairs room for the same price which was very...

We have stayed at this hotel several days. We preferred it as other hotels are too high priced in this town. We had room No. 7, which is the best room we have seen in this hotel. The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. A little disadvantage is the breafast, which easily could be improved by serving...
