Hotel might be nice, even though facilities decreased a lot compared to last season: No reception desk, no Café anymore, construction area across the road, hardly any personnel around to speak to, entrance hall heartlessly decorated. I walked in to request my friends wouldn't be accommodated facing the construction site and got told, the reservation will be changed to mother...

After 2 nights at the sister property "Burasari Heritage" we moved at Chang Inn for our last night in LPB. Cute little house along the road. Only 5 rooms so you won't be disturb by too many people in the hotel. Our room was of a reasonable size. Just a little negative point for the bathroom which needs renovations. It's...

We weren't sure what to expect, given the lack of recent reviews, but ended up really enjoying our two night stay here over New Year's weekend. This is an intimate five-room inn - simply but tastefully decorated with dark wood floors, white walls, and individual antique pieces, and a small common terrace upstairs for guests. There is an excellent cafe...

We stayed at the Burasari heritage but were driven over in their antique Mercedes to have dinner here. It was $27 U.S. And was excellent. We had roasted peanuts, bottled waters, pad Thai and panang curry with fried fish (& one order of steamed rice). On the way out the chef had us try some sort of fresh spring roll....

The charming, historic inn is ideally located on the east side of the peninsula. My daughter and I had a simple, clean, comfortable twin room with a good shower and reliable wifi. We enjoyed afternoon drinks on the front terrace, and the free continental breakfast at the nearby sister hotel, The Burasari, is quite good. The friendly, helpful, and professional...

It seems all the money was spent on the downstairs reception. The rooms are very basic for the price, wifi failed and management was largely absent. Breakfast is a walk to another hotel and rationed and basic. If this was charging us$40 on then it is value. Otherwise there are better deals in LPB.

So sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. Especially with the Wifi not working which is so important for staying in touch with our loved ones. We do our best with the wifi, but Luang Prabang and Laos being a developing country, some days or weeks, it is hard to get consistent service. We know how frustrating it can...

I've been here twice, so far, and the Eggs Benedict is highly recommended, although the menu choice is minimal. Also see the glass coffee machine with the gas burner underneath. The staff are on the ball and the room very interesting with different coffees and machines, bone China display and wooden floors and panelling. Highly recommended.
