I selected this Guest House due to its location in Gulshen Iqbal Karachi as it was near University Road where I was having meetings. But i found the whole experience not good. There is no airport pick N drop service. Guest House has no board outside presumably to avoid Commercial Tax and so it is not legally registered as a Guest House. Actually it was a banglow turned as a Guest House from Pathan family. No reception desk was there although a room with a guy and computer was there boasting as reception. The employees were sitting on floor on reception eating there dinner when arrive in evening. The room I was allocated was OK but bath room was having no hot water & the commode was broken muslim shower. A small LCD TV give no joy in watching TV if you want. Although Wi Fi was there With iron stand outside but room was not cleaned. Even in one drawer I found injection syringes and when inquired I was told that some patient stayed there last night!! They even did not bother to clean the room afterwards. I dare not to open any cupboard & use other room amenities although i am thankful that staff told me honestly about patient stay! Nearest market was 10 minutes walk & Guest House has no room service,. They have a menu of near by Hotel and when I ordered & food was delivered Guest House staff gave me same utensils in which they were eating on floor outside. So no food ! Price they ask was PKR 3000 per night and in that you can have decent guest houses on Shara-e-Faisal or elsewhere in Karachi so i will avoid staying here.…
