We are from the UK and visited this hotel on many occasions in 2021. The location is ideal, walking distance to Dolmen Mall and in a safe part of the city. The hotel is fairly small, which gives it a cosy and welcoming feel. Every member of staff was friendly and professional. There is a really lovely roof terrace for the evenings. We also tried the breakfast and dinner options and enjoyed the food.

Our Karachi trips are usually 1-2 days and we always prefer staying at BnBs. This was my first time staying at Orchards Cottage. OC has amazing reviews on booking.com. The location is very close to Dolmen Mall, Clifton, so it was ideal. The staff, from the guard righty down to housekeeping, is extremely professional and nice. The hotel is very neat and clean. The room is a good size. The TV comes with various news channels and Pakistani entertainment. The WiFi signals are good as well. We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay. We were a bit surprised that no food is allowed in the rooms as most places bring your breakfast to the room. Nonetheless, it’s a good thing. The dining area in the hotel is very cozy. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The bed linen was not fresh, there were laundry tags hanging with pillow covers, lipstick stains were all over the sheets. Upon request, they did replace the linen though. Under-trained staff. Food tasted bland. Not a great experience overall.

The place is cozy. 14 room hotel. Hence their service is excellent. First time it happens to me that the hotel staff call you to make sure you have breakfast before it closes down. The Team is hospitable and kind. Ms. Zain was fantastic and she, along with her colleagues, Majd our stay pleasant.

This was my second stay this year at this place. This time I stayed in the Executive room which was much larger than the standard room with all the amenities and very comfortable. They have augmented their free breakfast that they serve with free dinner also, which I have not seen any facility provide to its guests. This makes it very convenient for the guest not to go out of the hotel looking for food at night. I found the staff very courteous and efficient. The only issue I had with them was that they only give only two half liter bottles of water free every day. If you want more then they charge you Rs. 55 for every half liter bottle. Recommend you buy your own water at an outside store, which is much cheaper.

This is my second visit because I found the staff friendly and the place was quiet and peaceful. However, it is likely to be my last visit because the rooms, especially the bathrooms are not clean. There is hair on the floor and on bedding and the sink in the bathroom has not been cleaned since the last guest was here. Also, if you like a room with a window - go somewhere else!

It was our week long (8 days) anniversary vacation stay and the comfort, convenience and hospitality offered at this cottage made it even more memorable. The staff is amazing here from check-in to everyday room service, it was a delightful experience. Free live food (breakfast and dinner) is also great, they do not allow food in rooms, so you have to go to the dining area and the staff serves food (even if you have ordered it from a restaurant you like).. Room amenities are superb, you have iron and board, tea kettle, AC, TV, hot water, safe lock, cupboard and everything one would need. Its a really neat, clean and very well maintained facility with card key access. The location is also great, the safest in Karachi in my opinion (opposite Hyperstar Dolmen Mall and near Chinese Consulate). We have stayed at cheap guest houses / hotels ($50 per night) in past and were disappointed and we honestly feel they weren't worth the money we spent there. This place costs $25 more, but you really get value for every $ spent. If you're not booking Marriott, PC, Avari, go for this place. I and my wife loved being here and we will be staying at Orchards Cottage whenever we're in Karachi.

This is a super fantastic boutique hotel. I visited Karachi with my daughter from San Francisco, California and personally observed all the following over the 4 Day stay. Each of these qualities get a 5 Star from us: 1. Security - Absolutely safe place for all Americans, Canadians, British, Australians, Germans, Japanese, Chinese, etc. Each of these nationality was staying there. 2. Service - 2nd to none. I moved there from the Karachi Marriott and felt as good if not better for all services provided. 3. Convenience - perfect location for CBD. However, it is farther away from Karachi airport. Nothing is close to the airport. All business & commercial enterprises are in CBD. One of the best shopping malls (Dolman Mall) is walking distance. Near the ocean and beaches. 4. Transportation - both Uber & Kareem come to the Hotel door. Nearly all rides for less than $5 in CBD. Airport pickup & drop off available. 5. Food - excellent hot breakfast with made to order eggs. Fairly good dinner. Both included in the room rate. Of course plenty of Restaurants on the ocean - within 5 sq miles / $3 Uber. 6. Value - low cost... way under $100 per night for all of the above... nothing like this place anywhere in Karachi. (I will stay at this place for all my future trips - not at Continental, Marriott, Avari, etc.)

Absolutely brilliant, everything top notch, definitely recommend and stay again. They even provide complimentary dinner and breakfast. Really worth it. Safe, secure, very near to hyperstar dolmin mall, and if you are happy to walk a bit then easily get to darbar too.
