Very impressed with the hospitality of the hotel in putting up a Christmas Eve dinner and entertainment at the pool area for all hotel guests. We had a massage at the spa and that was good too. Clean room, good breakfast.

The most memorable aspect of our stay was the visit to the Spa which was first-class. It is nicely located in the garden of the hotel, surrounded by gently flowing water, and staffed with delightful and competent personnel. Generally, the staff showed great effort and good will, although the proficiency in English was quite varied. The view up towards Mandalay...

We had a lovely stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Buffet breakfasts and dinners were varied and a lot to choose from. The pool is lovely. The manicurists are very pleasant also. Stayed twice for short periods.

There is not yet a great choice of larger hotels in Mandalay and this is probably the best option The best features are the pool and the bar. The rooms are very dated and on the city side small with small bathrooms -- hill view a better option. Service is good and cheerful. Food is average. Not great value for...

The location is good with excellent views of the Mandalay Hills at the back. Unfortunately the hotel itself is rather dated and needs a good makeover, especially the common areas. For example the bar is small and the two lifts are slow and crowded. The actual rooms were better than the rest of the hotel and perfectly presentable. We had...

Arriving at the Mandalay Hill resort after a long day in dusty, sweltering Mandalay feels like reaching an oasis. While the rooms themselves are pretty dated and charmless, the gardens and beautiful pool, as well as the superb views over the hills cluttered with golden pagodas, make up for it. The partition door between family rooms are too thin, thusnot...

Typical nice room in a big hotel. The only negative was that we could hear the traditional folk dance show takes place every night until 9pm in our room. The only meal we ate at the hotel was breakfast which was a very good buffet.

This hotel is in a reasonable condition, but a little dated which should not be a surprise in Mandalay. The wi-fi is free and works well. The rooms are a good size. Bathroom is large with a bath. There is a fair bit of noise coming from the bar area with bands that seem to go into the early hours...

We stayed 2 nights during a tour. The hotel is huge but not impersonal. Free wifi Fabulous breakfasts, such a wide varied selection to suit all. A very nice bar area with evening live music. We stayed in room 430 which had a fantastic view of Mandalay Hill, very pretty lit up at night. A very enjoyable stay & would...
