I stayed here on two occasions and found it great. I paid 35 a night for my room, first room (210) was very nice, looks like they were starting to modernize a bit, Internet connection was great, second room I had was on the first floor a bit further from the stairs so Internet wasnt as reliable, and the room...

We looked at a lot of the hotels in Mandalay int his price range $30 double room & this hotel was by far the nicest, decor, comfort & service. When we returned to Mandalay all we could get was the queen suite which was super for $60. A huge, luxurious room with very comfortable beds, the best we had stayed...

We stayed 3 nights in February, booked by our small tour operator. There must be better hotels around. We found the reception staff next to useless. The rooms were barely clean, the power & hot water unreliable & the bathrooms just acceptable. Breakfast was very poor even though we realised that we could order eggs. They were served cold &...

There isn't much to recommend Hotel Queen, where we came with a tour group, other than that it's quite clean and has fairly good in-room wifi. Modern motel style, with tiny, charmless bedrooms, intermittent power cuts, loud banging during the day, a profusion of mosquitos at night, and a rubbish breakfast (we ordered the eggs as recommended on Tripadvisor and...

The hotel itself is quite good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Overall the Hotel is rather modern compared to other Hotels of the same price range in Mandalay. Free and fast Wi-Fi even in the rooms is another plus. The problem with this Hotel is however that its terribly full of European tour groups....

Stayed here three nights with spouse. Room was large and had ample furniture with bed, table and chairs, desk and chair, closet/armoire, etc. Coffee/tea facilities with water kettle. Fridge also. Two free bottles of water daily. Thin grey towels in bathroom, only real complaint. Soaps, shampoos provided, but if you're fussy bring your own. Loved having a hair dryer in...

After 28 days in Myanmar, i would say this is the worst hotel we stayed at. We had a lot of furniture in our room. The bathroom had seen better days (tiles were looking like they were about to fall off the walls, the shower leaked - although that was not the only hotel where that happened, it looked a...

The hotel is the best and most comfortable stay during my 8-day trip to Myanmar. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. The hotel offered private airport taxi at the price 15000 Kyats per car which was more expensive than what I read of 12000 Kyats from the guide book, so I didn't ask the hotel to...

I would not call this a b&b. It is a tour group style hotel with about 6 floors. The rooms are quite basic, clean enough with a comfortable bed.It was cold one night and when I ordered an extra blanket it arrived promptly and it was clean. The bathrooms are tired as are their towels but clean. They provide tea...

We stayed several nights at the hotel and then drove to Hsipaw and Maymyo, returning for one more night in Mandalay. I'd accidentally left my spare camera battery charging in an out-of-the way plug. To my delight, they'd found it, tagged the room number and returned it to me. Wow! The elevator always worked, bottles of water were provided, the...
