Not the typical tourist experience which is very welcome. They treat you as if you are family, will cook for you and point you in the right direction as you explore Sousse and Tunisia. You not go wrong staying here.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the recommendation of someone. We really did enjoy our stay. We hade no complaints. Our hosts even catered to our food concerns. It really did feel like home. I love the name of this B&B. It means, "my mother's house". We truly felt like we were in my mother's house. Thanks Meriem and...

I stayed at Dar Omi for 3 nights. Originally I only booked it for 2 nights. However, the experience was so awesome that I booked my last night in Tunisia at Dar Omi. Before I arrived, Rabaa's daughter, Mariem gave me detail instructions to ensure that I could find the place. When I arrived, I was being welcomed into their...

When staying at Dar Omi, we felt like at home and part of the family. Welcoming and easy, great dinner and valuable time together. Mariem was even available by phone afterwards and helped us organising our further trip with great recommendations. When arriving by car there is even a parking available. Thanks for everything!!

The house Dar Omi and Ms. Rabaa (the owner) are magic. You can relax and leaven a special place by a special woman .Her advices and support are crucial for living in a city like Sousse. It is difficult to find words to express how welcome and good you feel at Dar Omi. The house is great, spacious and definitely clean. Mariem was a perfect host even before we arrived, she gave us helpful suggestion on how to travel in Tunisia and she found us a good guide for a tour to El Jem. We spent...

A true B&B and local experience. You stay in the home of the owner and share meals with other tourists and the family. Rabaa and her family were very, very accommodating, helpful and friendly. You could relax in her living room, talk to her mother in the kitchen, or sit outside on your balcony. The food was delicious and prepared with...

Although I didn't stay here overnight, I have no doubt that the experience would be as pleasant as my culinary excursion at Dar Omi. Rabaa and her daughter's friend, Hiba, were absolutely amazing, warmly inviting me and my friend to her beautiful home. After a tour of her beautiful place, impeccably kept, she took us to the market where we...

A great Tunisian cooking experience! We made a lot of typical Tunisian dishes. The food turned out delicious. And during the class we learned how to prepare the vegetables and sea foods. A visit to the market and a lot of hands-on cooking being advised by a very kind and skilled cook Raba. I hope to come back and do...

We stayed at Raaba's place the last night of our trip and it was a fantastic way to end our honeymoon. After a week of traveling the country, it was wonderful to "come home." Dar Omi is a haven. Raaba's house was so cozy and lovely. And it was great to be in an actual home in Tunisia after over...
