Lovely hotel and a nice breakfast spread. We stopped in the apartments about 2-3 minutes walk away from the main hotel through the walled city. Plenty of steps to climb up to your apartment - they were clean and pleasant but wanted a little tlc.

We loved our stay at the Monte Cristo and the feel of this smaller inn which was well appointed. Lots of nice furniture and artwork in this cozy/eclectic boutique style hotel. The staff were all top notch and couldn't do enough to help, including a nice bottle of wine in our room to celebrate our anniversary! We thoroughly enjoyed the...

First the positives: 1.Staff are friendly, smiling and helpful. They are one of the strongest features of the hotel. 2.The rooms are tastefully decorated with a large comfortable bed and a good shower with plenty of hot water ( although see note below) 3. Breakfast is good and served in a pleasant courtyard area. Some small negatives: 1. The fridge...

Hotel montecristo is ideally located in kotor old town . Immaculately clean, spacious , and friendly helpful staff. At night the music around the hotel vicinity is played at alarmingly intolerable pitch such that it is impossible to sleep after 12 pm. Three nights in a row we have been awakened and had bad sleep patterns as a result. Hotel...

We visited here twice during our stay, once during the first week, and then chose this as our last night meal venue. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable in comparison with similar restaurants. We sat both times on the veranda, which was very picturesque, and allowed us to view the street scene below in...

Extremely friendly staff, our room was cleaned every morning almost before we were out the door.Great food from the restaurant. Small but comfy bathroom with an excellently powerful shower. The only downside is the jazz bar next door, but that didn't really bother us. The resort is not really for young party goers (like Magaluf etc) but a lot of the old...

My family and I stayed for one night and that was enough! We were greeted at the old town entrance very warmly with a golf buggy to bring in our luggage. The scenery and old town is very beautiful! The location of this hotel is perfect and it fits just nicely with its old fashioned charm. The hotel staff were...

We visited for the day on a cruise ship and loved the old town. We finally settled on a nice table for two in the little square outside the Hotel Montecristo which offered a very nice rotating cooling water spray fan as the weather was hot. The restaurant next to it had a string quartet playing and the setting couldn't...

Lovely quaint hotel in the heart of the old city. The staff are super friendly and really can't do enough to help, phoning to book restaurants etc. But yes it is noisy at night in some rooms. We were so tired it really didn't bother us but if you were a light sleeper it would be difficult to get to...
