Detailed Reviews
Me and my friend stayed here for 3nights and we really enjoyed our stay, we got Bolt from the airport which cost 12euro
The hotel is in a more residential area of Zadar, some of the surrounding buildings are a bit run down but this certainly didn't affect our stay at the Hotel
The hotel is absolutely spotless and still has the new feel about it, lovely clean decor, all the staff were very professional and friendly.
The room had complimentary toiletries and on our stay it got cleaned every day, beds were comfy, the blackout blinds were great and certainly served their purpose.
Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, only thing i did notice was the cooked area was usually only lukewarm at best, one day the mushrooms were almost cold but another day they were really hot.
Hotel is a 10min walk down to the footbridge which takes you straight into the old town, it was a lot closer to the old town than i thought it would be, theres a small corner shop straight across from the hotel which was reasonably priced

Hotel is located 15 minutes away from major city attractions.
By taxi anywhere in town i was driven on a price between 6-8 EUR.
Hotel is new and well decorated.
The reception area is very nicely scented. People at the reception are very friendly.
The hotel is designed to be a business hotel. Majority of visitors are going for the sun and beach. They are aware of this since at reception you can rent a beach towel for 5 euros a day. But in the room there are no options to dry a towel or a swimsuit. No balcony as well.
No minibar.
Breakfast is standard European but they don’t charge anything. Since visitors are spending longer time in hotel they have to rotate several variations.
Cleaning is daily but a bit superficial. Hair on the floor is still there after cleaning.
Generally it’s a good place to, although those minor remarks.

Somewhat peculiar location, you enter through one side of the street or through very narrow streets with difficult parking space and that, when going through them, you think you are in the wrong place. But no.
That's right and in the background is the hotel.
Very good staff, very friendly. It has a restaurant that runs all day in which breakfast is very good and abundant with many options and food and dinner are exceptional, very good quality at very good price.
Just orange juice is no good.
The rooms, well, we had one with a living room and a sofa bed and our room next door. Good space and quiet.
10 mins walk from the center.
I think the difficult and narrow entrance is the only reason they don't have 4 stars.

It's a new hotel. The building is fine, the area immediately surrounding it is extremely shabby, a deprived area it seems to me. The room itself is neat. The air conditioning in the room is like having an airplane flying around in your room and it barely cools. So I slept poorly. Then on to breakfast. No space, complete chaos. Then sit outside on the terrace. Looking for a plate and cutlery, if you can't find it, just ask. Rolls not well baked, eggs blue, fresh fruit gone. Then just a mini croissant. But the absolute low point is the coffee. Never before have I tasted such bad and disgusting coffee. Instant coffee from a cheap machine. When it comes out you can already see that this is not going to be tasty. Behind the bar they are very busy making really good coffee, but you have to pay 1.80 extra per cup and wait in line for fifteen minutes in front of the bar. You see leftover coffee everywhere on the tables, no one seems to like it. Staff say they don't like it either but shrug their shoulders. You won't see us here again.

New, nice, modern and clean hotel. The room is a bit small, but the hotel has a very good standard in every way, also a very good breakfast. Walking distance to the main gate of the old town. The hotel offers a 15% discount in their restaurant but this turned out to be a disappointment, neither the food nor the drinks were of a good standard so cannot be recommended.

Upon arrival the reception staff where very friendly and helpful and they provided us with all the information we required. The hotel is very modern and the rooms and hotel was kept in immaculate condition. Breakfast was very good with a wide range to suit most people taste. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

The Amare experience was very good. It is in good location and easily accessible to the old Town for 15 min walk.
Staff deserve a special praise. Very friendly and helpful. We are vegetarian so they had decent preparation for vegetarian. yogurt with berries, Salads etc. The room were clean and bar was very good. Room was good with all amenities.
Loved the outside sitting area.

I organised an academic event at the University of Zadar and the visiting lecturers stayed at A'Mare. We were all very pleased with the hotel indeed. It is modern and well-appointed, with a very nice bar and restaurant with terrace. The staff are all really friendly and helpful (particularly Marko at the reception!). The beds are very comfortable!
A'Mare is approximately a ten minute walk to the bridge into the old town, or a Bolt taxi is around €4.5 to the department of sociology at the eastern end of the old town.
The hotel is listed as 3*, but I think it should really be a 4*. We are returning for the same event next year, and we will be staying at A'Mare.

Hotel is situated a short walk from city center / old town, easy accessible, and if you walk other directions than city center, there’s a lot of local places to be discovered.
We paid 25 euro taxi fare going from the airport to the hotel, and 35 euro the opposite way. Takes 20 minutes. Book a hotel yourself, go with Uber, or use the bus going every half hour for cheaper fare.
The hotel itself was a delight. We loved sitting at the patio, the bar was amazing, and the rooms was clean, a great bed, and even though small, the room had everything.
The service among ALL staff was perfect, and they knew what they were doing.
Cons: coffee at breakfast is terrible!

The hotel is located in a residential area; walking distance to old town, but horrendous for parking!
We were told that there is a public parking, well actually that is parking for locals who live in the surrounding buildings!
If you come from town after 10pm, good luck finding a parking spot anywhere remotely near this place!
Also, there is a large area directyin front of the entrance that could be used to check- in & out with your luggage, but you cannot pull up your car there!
It’s a mediocre transit hotel!
Rooms are extremely small; there are no closets for clothes, only hooks! Indication of transit hotel!
Staff is not very friendly or warm at all!
The only people who greeted us were the Filipino cleaning staff!😏
Breakfast was good!
Coffee was the best we’ve had in Croatia!
Stayed for 1 night inly; glad we didn’t need to stay longer!
