Not sure what to make of this place. It is or was certainly once upon a time very grand, alas this is not the case any more. New chap in the restaurant didn't know if he was open or closed. Shower needed a instructions manual on how to operate. Fortunately I wasn't paying, not sure if I would. However all...

Claims for 5 Stars by hotels in Europe can sometimes be optimistic. While not putting the President Hotel in the same bracket as the Mount Nelson it certainly meets the standard most discerning travelers rrequir. The facilities are all one would expect, the bedrooms large and the bathrooms hace spa baths and multi jet showers. The restaurant provides a buffet...

We stayed at the nearby VIP apartment and had breakfast daily at the President as part of the deal. We would like to stress that this is a wondeful place for breakfast. The hotel looks lovely. The staff Josphipha and Nikola were so kind and attentive - thank you! Highly recommended!!!

Visited hotel for 2 days on bussiness trip. Location and staf is good but everything else is outdated. Furniture and interior looks very old. Food bellow average. There was no soap available in my room. Applicator was empty. Finishing touch in the room is clearly overloooled.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel - it's centrally located, less than 2mins from the Diocletian's Palace. The hotel offers parking services which is great given the proximity to city centre. Room was very clean and spacious. The staff were helpful and attentive. Would come again.

I stayed in this hotel with a tour group. I had a good sized, quiet room. However, the shower hose drooped if I did not hold it when I was showering. The breakfast was adequate but not very good. The coffee from the machine in the breakfast room had the colour but not the taste of coffee.

This is a well-located hotel, but the structure is old and creepy with rickety elevators and dated furnishings. Very spare amenities. Breakfast buffet is for people who eat like birds, or are on a diet. I am so thankful we only had to stay here one night.

We spent two nights at this hotel. Had a balcony running the full length of the room. Also had a safe and a mini fridge to store cold drinks. The bed was very comfortable, with good pillows. We ate breakfast and supper at the hotel. The food was okay, nothing great but good enough. There is so much to do...

This hotel stay was part of a bus tour through Croatia in mid-September. The property has a very good location about a 10 minute walk from the Old Town of Split. But the décor is very dated and tired, the bathroom vent was a little smelly and I had a small single room. The food was average. If you can...

On the face of it we were well pleased with our spacious rooms, lots of storage and even a chaise longue! Our particular rooms were in the new wing with french doors on to a terrace. The snag was that the temperature was 30 degrees and the AC was inefficient and eventually stopped working! So there we were absolutely frying...
