The worst hotel ever. The only clean thing here are the bed sheets(?). Food is even worse. Service 0. It looks like the old yugoslavian hotels back in 90s everything is dated and worn off.

It is a shame for Split to have such an awful hotel ! Skip if you can !

Hotel Zagreb is in a great location
And from the outside looks very nice.

First problem : Some of the stuff are the most unfriendly people that i met in Croatia.

After less than an hour my friend and I checked out of the place. The booking.com description of the accommodation was so far from the truth that led us to prepay, it was unbelievable.

On check in we were told our towels would be changed every 3 days and 5 for sheets. Corridors

We stayed there twice during August 2018 having pre booked both visits for a car tour of Croatia. The hotel is awful. It is overpriced for what you get. Problems:
1. Beds not made up on arrival (twice).
2. Room not cleaned during our stays.
3. No space in bathroom to put anything

The service was great and the beach was close, but that was about it. We changed the hotel after one night. It was far from everything, no restaurant's near by or shopping etc. The pictures of the hotel is taken by a pro and is nothing like the place really is. On the outside it

"Stay at a different hotel. This one is awful."
"Anything facing the beach"
"Ask for a renovated room with new AC"
"Rooms facing the park & sea"
"5th floor room offers good sea views."
