The hotel itself is amazing, with a courtyard and terrific rooms. It's been re-modeled and they obviously took great care in how they designed the reconstruction. The location is perfect--near the central plaza and a number of restaurants and other stuff to see (like Casa de Jade and a chocolate museum). I have to especially commend the staff, who were...

We simply LOVED this hotel. Starting at the entrance you step back in time, and the plaza with fountain in beautiful. Rooms are spacious, great beds and good bathroom. Decorations all around. Friendly staff, limited in English. Close to plaza mayor, definitely great value for money, highly recommended.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, however it is such a waste. The service and accommodations do not match up to the beauty of this hotel. First I was given a different room than the one I booked. The shower did not function to well and when I told the front desk they said the repairman was not available till monday,...

Beware when making reservation on Holly Week (Semana Santa), i got confirmation of reserve, et etc, but room was already sold to someone else, this is not hotel fault, just be aware when making online reservations with this hotel, they are not 100% accurate. Better to deal directly

This fine hotel did not honor our prepaid reservation. We were disappointed as we had paid a lot of money to guarantee the room. They sent us to a nice hotel, but in a less central locale. I would not trust them to hold a paid room in the future. We paid $245 USD. The hotel they sent us to...

Ended up staying at this hotel after our flight was cancelled and there was no hotels available in the City. Service: Great. No complaints. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Location: Great. Only 1 block from the central square. Walking distance to pretty much anywhere in central Antigua. Food: didn't eat at the restaurant but had several cocktails at the bar....

Beautiful colonial palacio situated 100 meters from Antigua's main square and 150 to the main street. Our room (Don Pedro) was on the street despite that it was the quietest nights we had in Guatemala. The windows look straight out to the volcanoes. Rooms are huge, four poster bed, really good mattress. Nice smallish bathroom but with a bath. The...

We loved this hotel. It has a small but friendly feel about it despite its palacial feel. When we visited in February it was very quiet so we had first-class, friendly service from the staff. Even the gardener introduced himself! Breakfast in courtyard was like being super-rich. Our room was beautifully fashioned in Spanish colonial style. All staff were very...

Hotel Palacio de Doña Leonor is a beautifully restored Spanish-style mansion that was the residence of Doña Leonor, the daughter of the Spanish conqueror, Don Pedro de Alvarado, and the Tlaxcalan Indian Princess Tecuilhuatzin. The hotel is just around the corner from the Cathedral, the Palace of the Captain’s General, the City Hall and the Main Plaza .Each room is...
