A friend and I decided, very last minute, to backpack through Guatemala. Antigua was the first stop on our trip. Casa Cristina was comfortable and felt safe. The halways are beautifully decorated and there are plants everywhere. The rooftop patio is absolutely perfect with a great view of the city and volcanos. The water is heated at the shower head,... Hotel Casa Cristina was perfect for our trip to Antigua, and you can't beat the price. The hotel is located near the city center, so restaurants, shopping, the markets, banks are all just a quick walk away. The owner, Rosario, was on site and helped us organize trips to the Volcano Pacaya and Semuc Champey. Rosario was very trustworthy vs... More

We had a great five nights at casa cristina, over a 16 day trip to Guatemala. Originally we only had two nights booked but returned later in our trip. Staff were fantastically helpful, storing our bigger bags when we went to the lake and arranging a bus for us. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy, with fast wifi.... More

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and some spoke English. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, and best of all, quite affordable. We especially liked the rooms on the top level, because they offered windows that opened to nice views and breezes. The rooftop garden offered beautiful views of Antigua. We look forward to our next visit.

Very central and economical hotel in Antigua. They are not listed on major booking websites but responded very quickly to the contact form on their website and seemed to be a better deal. The roof top terrace and reading room are great places to relax and have breakfast. The free sweet bread available in the morning didn't seem very impressive... More

Centrally located....12 small rooms. Would vouch for number 12 where I stayed. No elevator available so if you can't walk up stairs you will need to ask for room on first floor. Can't speak about them. Rooms are Small but adequate... extremely clean and quiet. Free wifi. Good coffee and Guatemalan breads in the morning. Also they provide filtered water... More

Had a very enjoyable for night stay in a double room. Room was very clean with reasonably comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean, with ample hot water for the shower. There is a lovely "terrace" on the roof, with lovely views of the city, and surrounding volcanoes. We were fortunate enough to observe some volcanic activity one day, quite a treat!... More

The hotel is in the middle of the centre, only a ten minute walk from Parque Central. We had a pick up from the airport of guatemala city which was very well arranged. The hotel has a nice roof top terrace, free coffee, thee and water and some fresh bread in the morning. Big rooms and comfortable beds.

Generally, this small casa is cosy and lovely with a great view of 2 volcanos from its roof top. The room rate is reasonable and I would stay here again if I return to Antigua. I stayed alone in the basic traditional room #3 & #4 on the main floor for 3 nights in Dec 2015 before and after my... More
