I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was my most satisfying hotel experience in Guatemala at this price point. My room faced onto an interior courtyard and was nice and quiet. The room and bathroom were clean, and the room was brightly decorated....More

We appreciate your comment and the quality issues of the hotel staff have been addressed. We have new standards now for quiet hours in the hotel from 10pm to 8am. Also, hotel staff are not allowed to use their cell phones during work hours.

I traveled alone, and catching a random van from the airport to Antigua cost from $10 to $13. I don't know if they charge double for a couple or give you a discount since you would have the same drop-off point. Hotels will arrange for pick-up and return to airport, about $15. If you're attending a language school, they may try to overcharge for airport-shuttle service. I think my school charged me $40 one-way. If your hotel can't arrange for a shuttle, try one of the ubiquitous travel agencies.
