This property has everything we look for while on vacation. We secured the Mary Sue Suite and were extremely impressed. All aspects from the comfort of the bed, high quality of the furnishings, sheets, in room fireplace, amazing bathroom, and private interior patio made this one of the best rooms I have ever booked. Anibal and his staff covered every...

I just stayed at the Posada. As I was traveling alone and female, it made me kind of nervous that my tour operator put me here. But once in my small cozy room, and with the friendly staff, all that was forgotten. It is about a 4 or 5 block walk to the main plaza but I found this to...

This hotel was our first stop after a 12+4 hrs travel from HK via LAX to Guatemala city + 2 hrs drive to Antigua. We felt very welcomed and cared for starting from the most friendly check-in. We were offered a room to refresh and rest at (arrived at 9am), and complimentary parking across the street. The hotel location is...

Posada del Angel is a beautiful, charming, and romantic little hotel with tons of character. It is a fabulous choice in Antigua, especially if you want privacy and quiet. It is a bit pricey by Antigua standards (especially if you bring kids, as they charge quite a bit extra). However, it is probably worth the price if you are looking...

This place was absolutely wonderful! My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and were treated tremendously well. Unfortunately, there were extremely heavy rains during our stay which made travel to Lake Atitlian treacherous. We had originally planned to stay two nights up at the Lake and were unsure about transportation, safety, and where we could stay if we...

I was at this hotel quite awhile ago and still remember it fondly. The building is stunning and peaceful, and the views from the roof are breathtaking. The food was wonderful. Our room (the green room) was simply perfect, including the bed, the view over the pool, and the very nicely appointed bathroom. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

This place was wonderful! My wife and I came here from California for a wedding in Guatemala. Since we had other friends in town, we were able to see other hotels in Antigua as well. To be honest, most of them were very nice, clean and charming. But all of us agreed that Posada del Angel was the best. Anibal...

We noted from a November 20, 2011 post that the beds in the yellow room had been described as uncomfortable.. We found the opposite to be true. Our entire experience during Semana Santa week from mouthwatering breakfasts, dips in the pool and comfortable evening slumbers was top notch. Anibal, the on site manager, is a wonderful resource for Antigua attractions...

My husband and I just stayed at the Posada del Angel at the recommendation of a well-traveled friend. We stayed in the Rose room on the second floor with a fireplace and private balcony. We arrived to rose petals, candles and champagne in our room. The hotel is within walking distance of the everything in town and the manager, Anibal,...
