Lovely luxury hotel with elegant Spanish colonial style furnishings. The hotel was built around the ruins of a convent, and the blend is beautiful, especially in the gardens. The hotel has a perfect view of the volcano from the courtyard. This place is an oasis.

On a day excursion from a Queen Victoria cruise had a chance to look over this impressive, lovely, hotel/museum. Remnants of an old convent have been incorporated into the hotel Beautiful gardens, fountains, walkways inside walls that keep out the hustle and bustle of the street (it was Easter holidays so very crowded with locals as well as 2 ship...

Amazing hotel & one of the most unique hotel stays I've ever had. Casa Santa Domingo deserves it's VIP status for multiple reasons. It has preserved it's grounds so well, and gives free and full access to all it's guests. Wonderful incorporation of history, nature and modern amenities. Great breakfast, clean rooms, good wifi service. The pool are is wonderful,...

Visited the spa with my husband, the service was beyond excellent, the drinks too. We took a relax massage and they gave us strawberries with chocolate and champagne. The jacuzzi in the spa facilities was beautiful the temperatures was perfect. Is a quite, nature, clean spa with all the amenities.

The rooms are large with every amenity. No central air or heat is needed. A fireplace is in most rooms. The architecture mimics the colonial Spanish that characterized the old convent and the city of Antigua. The grounds are beautiful gardens surrounding remnants of a historic convent. The staff was friendly and expert at their roles. The restaurant was superb....

To start off, our brand Marias had a pop up event to sell handbags and accessories in the hotel for a week. It was very easy to set up the venue, thanks to the amazing helpful staffs. Moreover, the food was delicious!!...

Do not miss an opportunity to experience the hotel spa at Casa Santo Domingo! The prices are terrific (my 90 minute Jade stone massage was $90 US). The facility is amazing - all the luxury features you could want in a setting worthy of Mayan royalty and the staff is professional & accommodating. Book in advance if possible because prime...

Absolutely amazing in every way! The history, the culture the architecture and the details. Felt like a celebrity. Staff was on-point and possibly the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at. If you have an opportunity, I highly recommend. One huge mistake we made as we visited the area was to stay here first. No other hotel even came...

I had the spring meeting of the Master Pools Guild and it was one of the best meeting we have ever held. The hotel is so unique that members loved it. The service staff were great and had enough for one person at each table for meals. The sleeping rooms were very comfortable with everything you would want including a...

Our mission group of 22 came here for dinner. The food and atmosphere were amazing. We walked the grounds before and after dinner, beautiful. Nice place for a wedding. There was lots of room for everyone to enjoy and the plants added to the beauty.
