During my Guatemala trip, I returned to Antigua three separate times and spent over a month in total at Place to Stay, largely because the hostel is such a welcoming and comforting place. Raul is an amazing host: complimentary breakfast and coffee in the morning, full kitchen and barbeque for anyone to use, and Raul can set you up with...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and had a great stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, everything is very clean. They have a few cats and a rabbit which makes you feel at home. The kitchen is very well supplied so you can cook anything you want. It was a bit hard to find, in...

Place to stay was one of the most welcoming and well run Hostels we've stayed in. The owner Raul is there at all times and is genuine and incredibly helpful. We extended our stay there, and would definitly go back again.

The communal area is fun and inviting, the kitchen is well equipped (we made some great meals and Raul was always supportive and part of it) other then that, the place is very clean, the...

I have been on the road for over two months and stayed in various types of accommodation. "A Place to Stay" truly made me feel at home. Raul and his staff really went out their way to keep their guests happy. The hostel is very close to the bus terminal so making day trips to Guate or nearby attractions is...

This hostel is safe, chill, simple and friendly place to stay. I've met some really top people here and have returned to stay on more than one occasion. It's economical and you get a pancake breakfast every morning, not to mention some communal cook-ups that happen from time to time. It's located right near the market and chicken buses, very...

That two guys are very helpful and have good advices for and quite cheap tour offers. There stay a lot of people doing spanish classe in a local spanish shool. The ambiente is verry calm and relaxed, not...
