We were more then satisfied with our stay; the food, the staff, safety, comfort and every aspect of the hostel was excellent. They arranged our pickup from Guatemala City airport which took the pressure off of finding safe transportation. Although we arrived late at night and our flight was delayed several times we were met with a smile by our...

We booked Hostal Las Marias for the start of Semana Santa and really enjoyed our time there. It's very picturesque, well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it's located in a quiet part of town in a gated area, so it's very safe and secure. If you're looking to party or want to be closer to the action,...

It's a very nice little hotel, the service is great and people is very nice. Besides is a secure place to stay and, most importantly, the price is good per night. I stayed with my family and we plan to go back every time to this hostal from now on. Highly recommended.

Stayed 4 nights in March 2014 with spouse. Hotel has a conventional courtyard style with approx 10 or so rooms on the perimeter offering a boutique like atmosphere. The center courtyard garden is sharply maintained and features a working fountain and night lighting providing an outstanding ambience day and night!! An open shared "living room" with decorative fireplace is tastefully...

A little pricey for what you get but thats Antigua. We paid $85 per night for 2 and the breakfast was a little limiting. Lovely courtyard a little difficult to find- its on the west side of town and you have to look for a sign seen when only going south and then you have to get a guard to...

We enjoyed two different rooms there over our stay - a double room for two of us and the apartment when our son joined us. Both rooms were spotless, tasteful and comfortable. Wifi worked well except for the first day when the manager was very apologetic. Breakfasts on the patio were delicious and ample. Although it is a bit of...

There is no doubt: it's a good value for money. The general conditions of the place is quite ok and the central garden a nice place to relax. The location a bit far from the city centre. They gave me 2 single beds when I asked a double bed.

Everything was pretty perfect here, the staff, the cleanliness of the room, etc (have stayed here on 2 separate occasions, for a total of 3 nights. The only thing to be slightly aware of is that it is a little out of town, and as such, just make sure you have everything you want with you for the day, as...

“Our rooms were great in both locations, no noise and we don't use air so don't know if it's available. Beds are better than in Mexico and would be considered average for most of us, but not uncomfortable.”
