Posada Del Hermano Pedro is a pretty little hotel with beautiful mini courtyards and a nice ambiance. The room size is very generous, breakfast is buffet style, quite adequate. The first night we were there was quite peaceful and quiet, from 2nd night on, there was a group of young people who were part of the endurance motorbike trails competition...

Stayed 4 nights here in a lovely room. Rooms are a little on the dark side, but good size. Bathrooms have decent hot water. Breakfast was good. Good location in terms of proximity to main square. Unfortunately, there was a large group from Cosat Rica staying at the same time and they were very noisy and inconsiderate - but that...

I bumped up my overall opinion of this place by one point only because it is a lovely setting. A very quaint old building in a beautiful town. Because it is an old building, however, sound travels through it easily. We were woken up (early) by the kitchen staff juicing the oranges for breakfast. Conversations can easily be heard (inside...

Had 3 nights here in April & was OK. The rooms are big & the bathroom had very good hot water! The location is great, just a block from the main plaza. Overall OK hotel.

This is a large hotel, more than 50 rooms, and is often booked full with European tour groups. There is nothing special about this hotel. It's big and lacks atmosphere but to it's credit it has reasonably sized rooms and hot water. They serve a buffet breakfast offering eggs, granola, juice, etc. If you are a big eater you will...

My most recent visit to the Hermano Pedro was less satisfactory than earlier ones. The rooms are the same as always: clean and with hot water, but noisy due to the amount of tile and other hards surfaces, as well as loose-sealing doors and windows. The buffet-style breakfast was fine. The service was noticeably worse. There was no pure water...

It is a quite little cute hotel, really close to the Central Park. The staff was really helpful and nice.

To see the public spaces in this hotel, you would think it quite nice. And it could be! Other than the fact that there was only one outlet (being used by a weak reading lamp), a broken flushing mechanism on the toilet and no cross ventilation in some of the rooms (absolutely necessary in a country where most hotels have...

We stayed here for two nights in February. The hotel is in a beautiful old 16th century building built around two nice courtyards and is less than two blocks from the central plaza in Antigua. In comparison with the nice building, the rooms are rather simple and basic - somewhat cell-like, though clean and with a nice bathroom and plenty...
