My fiance and I flew over to Nantucket for a few days of rest and relaxation after a wonderful wedding in Chatham and could not have asked for a more lovely setting than the Martin House Inn for our little escape from reality. We were greeted each morning to a beautiful breakfast and so enjoyed talking to the inn keepers......

My husband and I visited the inn in September of 2016. The arrival of a terrible storm led to our ferry being canceled and our arriving a day late. According to policy, we were not issued a refund but, rather, a credit for one day. We weren't happy about that policy because, of course, that compels us to book another...

We just saw the December 8th review and are horrified at the impression we have left with the reviewer. Once we identified who she was, we tried to reach her, leaving over five telephone messages and sending a letter to her address, with the goal of conveying our most sincere apologies and in an attempt to make amends for her...

Melissa and staff did an excellent job at making a very rainy weekend, sunny! We arrived at 5:20, in the pouring rain. We quickly dropped our bags and enjoyed a wonderful wine, cheese and so much more welcome reception. We met other guests from the Inn as well as the Cliffside Inn (a sister Inn). Everyone we met we very...

A friend's wedding brought us to Nantucket for the first time. The Martin House Inn was recommended by the bride. From the first phone call with Lisa to the actual visit 9.10.16, Lisa was very pleasant to work with. She is very knowledgeable about Nantucket and was very helpful. The Inn was quaint, nicely decorated and welcoming. There was a...

My husband and I just spent three days on Nantuckett and found the Martin House Inn all you could want. It is a charming old inn located a short walk to everywhere. The bed was fit for a queen, the bath was modern, and Lisa, the Innkeeper, keeps the inn comfortable and homey. We were comfortable immediately. There is always...

Our room with private bath was adequate, a little crowded. Breakfast was fine for our needs, buffet style, cereals and fruit, sweet breads. We felt that the hostess was somewhat busy and abrupt on our first day; she was more gracious later. Our room was on the first floor.

As a regular visitor to Nantucket for work (almost monthly for the past three years) Martin House Inn is my favorite place to stay. Warm reception always by inn-keeper Lisa, who is a master baker and puts out the most delicious baked good for breakfast each day. Even though the best bakery in town is but a block away, Lisa's...

LOVE Martin House Inn. Many thanks to gorgeous Lisa who does an amazing job making Martin House an experience. Fabulous baked goods for breakfast and wine & cheese on the deck in the afternoon. Refreshing lemon/orange water served daily and a home cooked cookie or cake each afternoon. Martin House is a home away from home and Lisa is the...
