A very pleasant family environment. Jeanette is a wonderful hostess. The studio apartment is very comfortable containing good kitchen facilities and the king size bed was very comfortable. It is close to all facilities. We have stayed there 6 times in 7 years.

I enjoyed a week in these quiet and well appointed apartments whilst on an art holiday recently. Whilst the bathroom was simple and not very large, it was adequate for what you had to do ;) The kitchenette at the other end contained all the materials you needed to make your own breakfast and lunch, although a continental breakfast was...

My wife & I have just had 1 magnificent week as part of a painting group on Norfolk Island staying at the Polynesian. Although it only has a 3 star rating we found the rooms to be very clean, the bed comfy and the hospitality shown to us by Jeanette outstanding. The motel is very close to shops, supermarket, bank...

While the Polynesian is not luxurious 5-star, the studio-style self-contained rooms were clean and comfortable, and serviced daily. The location was central to activities, hot breakfast daily was a treat and hostess Jeanette was incredibly friendly and helpful, and could not do enough to help during my stay. I stayed as part of a group participating in a photography workshop,...

This place is a fantastic place to stay, The owners have been great to deal with (Even let me borrow his fishing rod). The pool and the spa are a great way to unwind after a busy day fishing. This place is only a 5 min walk to the main town. The place is very clean and tidy, overall highly...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here the owner couldn’t have been more friendly, and helpful, the place was spotless and I would recommend it to anyone. The location was great only two minutes from town which when your driving home at night with no streetlights you are very grateful for. The breakfast provided made it a lot...

We got off to a bad start as as the owner was more interested in taking his wife out to dinner for their 10th wedding anniversary than being of much help to us. He was quite rude to one of my friends when she asked if he could advise us who the tour company was for our included half day...

We loved staying here, despite the travel agent recommending it as a last resort! We booked the Air Norfolk kids fly free package, which meant even our 15 year old daughter was free! The accommodation was simple and clean, but as noted in the other review, the hosts could not have offered more. We too loaned snorkel gear and were...

We booked a 1 bedroom apartment with Air NZ package deal. And choose The Polynesian, which is 3-4 star. When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment for free, which was great, as we didn't end up having the cot in our room for our son. We got given our car keys and...
