The staff was amazing. I was surprised at how well kept the hotel was. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Room and bathroom were clean. Overall, a much better experience than I was expecting.
Room# 300 This lodging experience was disappointing. I am a retired management consultant who has traveled world-wide for more than 45 years. I recognize that COVID has changed the way the hospitality industry does business. I have observed that some companies have used COVID to reduce services to the detriment of their guests and their own staff. This 5-day stay in Andover was a clear example of this. My partner and I arrived at this property about 4PM on 10/10/22 with 2 suitcases and several small carry-on bags. Room 300 is on the top floor and away from the highway. It was quiet and comfortable. We did not expect that “housekeeping” would avoid our room unless we specifically requested their services. For 5 days we put our soiled bath towels in the hallway and went to the front desk to get fresh ones each evening. When our trash cans were over-flowing we requested a large trash bag so we could manage that issue. We saw the housekeeping carts in the hall each day… but we got no service from them. The unfortunate result for the housekeeping employees is that they got no gratuities from us. The complimentary breakfast service was from 6:30AM till 9:30AM. We took advantage of that for 4 of the 5 days we stayed there. The menu did not change. The coffee service was “sketchy” at best. The food was OK… but unremarkable. I spent $673 for 5 nights at this property. It was not an experience I would like to repeat. I have had many pleasant, enjoyable overnight stays in hotels since COVID hit 3+ years ago. LaQuinta has chosen to blame COVID for their customer service “problems”. I blame LaQuinta for their policy of “Never let a crisis go to waste”. …
Awesome location, close to highway and not too far from Boston downtown. Room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and professional and check-in and check-out were quick. The breakfast was fine, you could have juices, bagels/toast, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, potatoes or waffles and the coffee was good too. It was a great hotel for a weekend stay.
The property was ideal for our ininerary. The staff was friendly and professional; the hotel appearance is updated and fresh, very clean; room was spacious and clean; comfortable bed; very good breakfast
Nice staff!! The lobby and the rooms were modern & clean. The continental breakfast had everything we needed to start our day. Just stayed one night but when I return to the area I would definitely book the La Quinta!
We toured all day and then checked in quickly before going to a concert in Lowell that night. So our time in the building was limited but was quite satisfactory. Everything was very clean and comfortable, which is not conducive to getting out of bed and starting another day of road warrioring.
Very bad. After checking in and going to our rooms (we had 2 reserved) it was clear that neither of our showers were cleaned. I could go into the gory details but .....it would make me ill....very bad. I who had the worst shower was able to get my room moved, my sister could not as they were sold out, and there was no one from housekeeping still on at 6pm, so my sister had to deal with it herself. The next day, we were gone all day, returned at 8pm and housekeeping had not been to our rooms with more towels etc. no nothing. The hall ways are left dirty. It's really too bad as you can tell this place has potential but they need much better housekeeping.
Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter. Was dropping her off at school. Location was close to highway. Rooms were a nice size, clean. Pool was good size. Gym was one of the bigger ones at a hotel with a variety of equipment. My only suggestion was to have more variety of breakfast options. It was OK, but could be better with a few more healthier options.
quick 1 night stay. while driving home from Nh. , senior rate , large lobby w seating & TV. is was the Koala hotel in the 80s! large floor plan w pool, breakfast was usually w waffles, fruit , bagels, sau & eggs, OJ beds where comfy, & room was large, but no nightlight in the BR, also the lamp near the bed reflected off the TV, all in all & ok stay , but found out the where bought out by another company!
I love this hotel! The beds and rooms were nice. The hotel is clean and has a nice pool. Check-in was easy and everything was clean and comfortable. The bed slept really well and they had a pretty good selection for the complimentary breakfast, including waffles, eggs, sausage links, cereal, yogurt and bagels. Only thing I would say is that breakfast could be a little later. It's over at 8:30. It would be nice to have at least until 9 or 9:30.
