Really nice hotel -great staff - stayed here on a business trip that got extended and the team in the hotel allowed me to keep the same room -breakfast was awesome - fresh omelettes and really kind waitresses - only downside was the lack of ability to walk somewhere for food

Good hotel! We stated at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston - Andover from August 13th to August 16th. The check-in process was extremely easy, and the main lobby was very spacious and nicely decorated. We received our keys to the room, and went on our way to find our room number. The room was easy to find, was very spacious and contained a large bed, a large television, a huge shower and toilet, and a sink outside of the bathroom. The bed were very comfortable and I had no trouble falling asleep at night. The checkout process was very easy as well, and the staff members were all courteous and accommodating to our requests.

From the warm cookies to the breakfast, it was a great trip! Very convenient location near the major highway. Service was great from check in to the breakfast service. The omelette maker earned his pay that day! We were on the 5th floor and there were young hockey players and wedding guests, but it was very quiet, no noise complaints. Heavy snow happened overnight, but it was well cleared from the parking lot by the time we checked out at 10:30. Overall a very satisfying experience and would definitely stay there and recommend it to others!

Two things I've never done before this hotel: written a Trip Advisor review and left a hotel immediately after checking in. I travel for work, and do a decent amount of prior research to find some nice hotels. The positive reviews here are pretty surprising to me, and I read many of them before booking. Granted, I didn't experience the restaurants or bars at all, so those may be great. This is essentially a dive motel. First off, the entire building smells very strongly of bleach. I passed it off upon arrival because I've experienced some hotels with various odd smells in the common areas or hallways, but not in the rooms. It permeates every area, and it started giving me a headache pretty immediately. The hallways, room doors, and rooms themselves are in very rough shape. Stains, chipped paint, and grime everywhere. The room furniture looks like it's been there 40+ years (although the bed linens themselves looked fine). I always do a quick Lysol wipe down of high touch surfaces (light switches, etc.) in a hotel room and I've never before gotten visible brown grime off of surfaces, but there's a first time for everything at this hotel. I decided to tough it out for the one night I was there, but when I pulled out the bathroom trash can from under the sink and saw the inches of yellow/green standing liquid at the bottom, I changed my mind and booked an alternate hotel. I didn't expect a refund given that I had already checked in and authorized my card, but the front desk didn't say anything to me other than "okay" when I explained why I was leaving, which wasn't particularly reassuring. The online photos of this place are comically misleading, and the price is absurd for the quality of the room. You couldn't pay me to come back here. For anyone who finds themselves in a similar spot, the SpringHill Suites down the road is a drastic improvement.

I stayed in this hotel from a Saturday up till a Friday.
As a Hilton gold member I had my breakfast included. I was happy with my Hilton gold membership, since the breakfast is not the cheapest. The only remark; during check-out my breakfast was suddenly on the bill. This was fixed by a senior staff member. It is always possible that someone makes a mistake, but the most important is how they fix it.
The room was nice and quiet, although several weddings took place, I did not hear any noise and had a good night sleep.
So this hotel is on my list if I will be again in the Andover area.

This is a nice looking property, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Our room was large and fairly clean. There were dirt and burn marks on the carpeting. We could’ve used more towels. There was no hair dryer or microwave in our room. I thought that breakfast would be offered, instead we were told about the $16 per person breakfast buffet at check in. Since there were multiple weddings, you can hear people talking or shouting in the hallway, while we were trying to sleep. I’m a Hilton Honors member and this didn’t live up to Hilton standards.

Unfortunately the hotel was overwhelmed by 2 weddings. Food not available due to extreme understaffing. Chaotic atmosphere & not worthy of the price tag. Staff who was available was courteous but completely overwhelmed by overbooking.

I absolutely love this hotel. The cleanliness of the whole property. The customer service was phenomenal. The beds and pillows are so comfy. The breakfast was yummy, especially the coffee and crispy bacon. Two of my favorite things. The pool was great. Lunch and dinner were good. The snacks provided were delicious especially the hummus and grilled veggies for all of us in the scrap room. They provided us with ice water and coffee/tea station throughout the weekend.
The desserts were delish, especially the cookies and brownies.
The location of the hotel is extremely convenient to 93. I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast is very overpriced for standard breakfast buffet fare. The dinner staff ignored me once they dropped off my food. I had to beg for soft drink refills. Eating areas are run down and shabby. The sleeping rooms are fine but I wouldn’t choose to stay here if it was up to me.

Only enough towels for one in the room, only bar of soap in the room ( no other personal care items), no bottled water. Upon opening the door to the room we were overwhelmed with a strong stale odor and the room did not look or feel clean. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but they were not offering it, only something in a brown paper bag.

I'm a Diamond member so it's included. Breakfasts are usually inexpensive if you had to pay and well worth whatever the nominal charge is.
