Very accommodating (we travelled with 2 children), clean, slightly rustic feel - like being in a cabin. Staff was so very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Check in and check out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience at Black Walnut Inn. Wonderful breakfast, pleasant service and a comfortable, clean room. Ample parking and friendly people to breakfast with. On the day of my departure, I could not find a necklace and was quite upset. The inn owner dropped everything to help me look. She helped me stay calm and after some time,...

My wife and I just returned from a two night stay at the Black Walnut Inn. This inn is wonderful, beautifully restored and very welcoming. The inn keeper and the owners were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The hot breakfasts were individually prepared with many options; nothing was too much trouble. When you...

Very quaint B&B with large playground area outside. We had room 6 which had two twin beds. The bathroom was really nicely renovated. Breakfast was delicious and I wish I could've eaten all of the options offered! Only downside is the road traffic can be a little loud, so we had to shut the window at night.

I stayed on January to visit UMASS with my daughter. The reservation process was smooth through their website. The email communication was great and the staff was very helpful all the time. The room was very clean and comfortable with a country handcrafted feeling which was pleasant. The inn was located next to a bus stop and a small convenience...

A lovely B&B with a country farmhouse feel. Our particular room was large (#8) with a long wall of windows, comfy sofa and bed. The proprietors serve breakfast in the dining room for several hours in the morning, I am sure it was delicious, but we were brunching with nearby family both mornings of our stay. When we were departing...

Stayed here while our daughter attended an event at UMass. Room was lovely and they provided a comfortable roll away for the one night we had our daughter with us. Breakfast is freshly cooked and the homemade treats and jams are standouts. Relaxing spot and since the weather was lovely we had a chance to sit out on the spacious...

My friend and I couldn't believe our luck when we checked in at this great B&B. Everything, from the huge barn in the back to the vegetables planted alongside the rooms to the decor of the dining room, was charming and unique. The beds were comfortable; the welcome was warm but not overbearing; the breakfast was terrific; and I really...

I'm not usually a fan of bed and breakfasts, but this place was exceptional. Friendly and hospitable staff. Quiet location and room. Spacious room and very comfortable. Great food (breakfast). The only negative was that the location was a bit isolated, not really anything within walking distance, but it's still close enough to campus and other area attractions. I would...

Simply wonderful. Cozy and comfortable. The rustic structure, warm hospitality, great food and only one mile from my daughter's UMASS dorm room. We met other guest staying at the inn at breakfast who were alumni traveling from out of town. They reminisced old memories and provided my daughter with a warm welcome to the area. It is difficult to get...
