In celebration of our wedding anniversary, we spent a night at Chez Amis, right in the heart of downtown Annapolis. Super easy walking to all of the city historical sites, restaurants, and the Naval Academy. We absolutely loved the State House room which provided cozy comfort and it was spic and span. Elly had roses waiting in the room and...

We recently visited Chez Amis for a brief trip to Annapolis. Chez Amis was in the center of town with only a short walk to State House, Naval Academy, shopping and dining. The owners were very friendly including the "guard dog", Maggie, who could not have been sweeter. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, although I will say we spent...

Spent New Years Eve at Chez Amis in downtown Annapolis and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the "Annapolis Room" which was perfect. Comfortable bed, cool sailing related decor and it was warm and inviting. The room has a private bath across the hall with a lovely claw foot tub. The hosts were generous with refreshments and fresh cookies....

We spent a night in December at Chez Amis for my wife's 50th birthday. Our room was the "Treaty of Paris" room which was great. The inn has an historic charm but with modern updates (like our bathroom!). The breakfast that Elly prepared was fantastic with plenty of fresh fruit to accompany the baked treats.

We enjoyed a wonderful one night stay near Christmas and couldn't have been more pleased. Elly was a lovely, warm host and cooked a gourmet breakfast. We loved Maggie the dog! She added a homey touch 😍 Our room was spacious, clean and the mattress was quiet comfy. You can also walk everywhere from this location! No car necessary. The...

We came to Annapolis to run Across the Bay 10K race over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Elly had great recommendation and the accommodations were first class. The neighborhood is right where you want to be. The run was great until I pulled a muscle. My injury limited my weight bearing status, a real drag. Elly went out of her way...

Our stay was given to us as a gift. We had a late arrival time that our host accommodated for us. We unloaded our luggage at the door then drove to the parking area .Parking was a short walk away and gave us an opportunity to get oriented to the area. Our room was very nice, bed comfortable and surpisingly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Chez Amis" in French means "Among Friends". Come share a day, weekend or week with us and enjoy the state capitol of Maryland and all it has to offer. Our 4 bedroom Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of historic Annapolis, Maryland and is nearby the State Capitol, St. John's College, the waterfront, city dock, the Naval Academy, antique shops and fabulous dining and entertainment places all within walking distance.Find comfort and old fashioned relaxation at Chez Amis. Since each guest room has a private TV, the French country styled common area is designed for reading, conversation, and playing many games of your choice. Bananagrams and scrabble seem to be our guests’ favorite. Refreshments and homemade cookies are available throughout your stay so we understand if you ‘sneak downstairs’ for just one last cookie. The dining area is a wonderful piece of carpentry that was built by the previous inn owner. It comfortably fits our guests but we also offer supplemental seating if you choose a more intimate table. ... more   less
